Nice battery with a useful meter/service days counter - lasted 22 months
Great value but the Amazon vehicle compatibility software said this would not fit my Honda helix scooter. It fits fine. Maybe it was my battery terminals that are angled to screw down from the top but this battery has versatile terminals that permit side or top fastening with a specially shaped rectangular plated or stainless nut that won't spin for convenience during installation. The meter is accurate compared to my technician's digital volt meter, it read 12.95 volts on delivery and my hand held meter said 13.05 volts. The meter has a day counter that is activated when you first install and use the battery. It has a tone alarm that is hard to hear but will beep intermittently if the battery is getting too low. You could hear it in a quiet garage. The service days counter makes it easy to prove how long you used the battery if you have a warranty issue. My battery strap is rubber so it is no problem to stretch it and see the meter display. The meter is so simple it only increases the cost of the AGM gel battery a few bucks. This gel battery arrived sealed with the acid already installed. EDIT - update - died in miserable Florida heat under a car port for 22 months, still will take a charge but past due for replacement. May have had a small trickle load from security system but dealt with it. Reordered same one.

For my 2005 SV650
Bought this to replace an older battery that had failed over the winter. The price is great. At the time of my purchase this battery was less than $40. This is a 180 CCA battery. I couldn't find that information anywhere on the Amazon listing so I figured I would include it in my review. This battery is true to the dimensions listed and fit my bike perfectly. The LCD seems a bit overkill but it is actually pretty convenient. This battery came fully charged over 13V. I popped it in my SV and it fired right up. I shut it down and restarted a few times to make sure and it has zero problems. The packaging was sufficient for such a small lightweight battery. It is encased in Styrofoam top and bottom and comes with a manual which mostly only covers the LCD operation. The only thing I would change is that the battery posts are not threaded. They come with a square nut inside of the post that allows you to screw the battery cables down. You can screw into the top or the side based on how you place the nut. The only problem I had was getting the nut to sit still within the post to allow me to screw the cable down as it tends to jump around a bit especially when its being placed into the bike. Either way, this appears to be a great battery. I hope to get a long life out of it and also keep it on a tender now when not in use. I will update this review if I ever have an issue with it. Great buy. Go for it.

has a Built in voltmeter an beeps when low!
Great deal. I grabbed it for a 77 cb550.. without checking size , an ended up being too big.. but I did a lill' fab work too battery tray an it worked.. best thing is, it's got it's own little voltage display, and hour meter built in! And it even bwill start too beep bellow 12 volts.. Def will buy more like it again. All battery's should have the lill' volt display.. it's great for bikes, quads, tractors, because you can see the voltage while it's running, make sure your system is charging.. it's still a battery, an will go down... But, for about 20, mins I adjusted and set points, with key on an all lights, and it stll started bike rite up.. a regular old lead acid filled, would left me kick-starting it or jumping it.. def would recommend if you like stuff like a built in meter, an warning beeper, and want something with good amos, too run accessory, like I do.. oh yes it's sealed also.. my fry mounted his in it's side , and it's been fine for 6months so far.. so idk if it's a 100% fell, and mount any which way.. but he did it.. an I like it sfo far. I don't have a worry bout keeping revsbup wen cruixin, or it loosing juice after key on trying too see what your doing fixing a loose chain, or somthin along side road. For the price, I'm glad I didn't go with a lead acid.. well worth it.. just wish I read, an measured dimensions first. But Im building it into a mild street tracker, anyway..

Donโt buy. You get what you pay forโฆ cheap junk
This battery will NOT hold a charge. I bought for my motorcycle and when it arrived, it would power my gauges, but not crank the bike. I put the battery on a 24 hour charge and it workedโฆ.. for a day. I rode my bike to a friends house a mile away, and an hour later when I was going to come home, my bike would barely turn over. Turned over, but too slow to start. Took out the battery, took it home and put on the charger. Next day, put battery in and rode home and disconnected battery terminals just in case my bike had a parasitic draw. That was almost 3 weeks ago. I went to ride my bike yesterday when I got home from work, connected the cables andโฆ NOTHING except my gauges. Not enough battery to even engage the starter relay. I just looked to see if I can return this battery, but my return window ended June 24th, 2025 (bought in mid May 2025). Battery is junk. The lcd indicator is worthless. Shows full battery when there is not enough to even start your motorcycle. (Mine being a Ducati 848 EVO)

I'm starting this one off at 4 stars because like the last battery it seemed like a decent product ...
I'm starting this review off with a 4-star rating. I bought one of these batteries a couple of years ago and it failed after about 22 months. I updated my review on that product. I'm starting this one off at 4 stars because like the last battery it seemed like a decent product for the money. I prefer the terminals to be solid lead which these are not but they should still perform well. Keep your eye on the battery terminals every 6 months or so. Corrosion will build up on the negative terminal. Had I caught this on my previous battery 6 months ago, I wouldn't have had to buy another one. The corrosion got so bad so quick that when I tried to remove the screw to the terminal the whole post ripped right out of the battery casing itself. The other battery still seemed to have plenty of power so longevity wasn't really the issue there. This battery also comes with a really nice built-in meter on top. You can see the voltage right out of the box. When I pressed it it measured 13.1 volts. It also has a day counter that you can activate. Really nice little feature. I'll update this in a year or so. For now though, feels like a pretty good deal for the money.

Long life, 5+ years, in cold and storage. 2003 SV650
Great, reliable battery. Replaced after 6 years of heavy use, just preventative. It was a dollar cheaper this time than in 2020. I have lots of electrical accessories on my 2003 SV650 along with an upgraded high amperage stator. This battery cranks hard every time, even after sitting for a month or in extreme cold. The terminal bolts can be used upright or 90ยฐ out the front.

Great battery great price!!!
This battery is the answer to all of your motorcycle battery problems!! I got so sick and tired of every year of having to buy a stupid battery from aAdVance auto for like $82 and that battery Only start my motorcycle for like three rides before it would quit and die! So I decided that if I'm going to buy a battery I wanted to be a cheap one for $42 this is a very nice battery and is cheaper than the one from advance but I have a think it starts and runs the motorcycle better then the $82 battery you can buy from Advanced... It's been on my motorcycle for about three weeks right now and every time I go out there my motorcycle starts right up!! The battery fit perfectly into the under seat area where my original spec three battery went. I was concerned about the voltage meter that is on the battery but it is the same height and size is of the old battery so that is not an issue with hitting anything under the seat or not been able to get your seat back on it's fine it's going to fit. I wish I would have found out about this battery a few years ago I probably would've save me over $200 in previous battery purchases. I know you think for $42 is too cheap of a battery but it's working good for me??I mean besides what else have I got to lose I know those cheap $82 batteries from at advanced auto ain't worth a shit so I figured this battery had to be better and so far it has proven that it is better
