Seams to be of good quality like the larger outer pockets over the early mill spec pouches & canteen seems solid thicker than expected should hold up , using on a work belt around the ranch

The bottle is terrible. Be prepared to consume macroplastics when you drink from it. The pouch however is nice so I will not be returning it. I'll just order a decent canteen so water isn't leaking all over me while I move.

High-quality plastic canteen. The canteen is durable, and comes with a nice utility pouch. Convenient to carry, and comfortable to hold. Cap is easy to open and close securely with no leakage. Good value for the price.

This is a good bottle for paintballing. I recommend this product.

An average human, in moderate clime, who’s not exerting themselves, can easily survive for a couple of weeks without food. But water? Lack of water can be a game-over scenario in just a few days, if not hours. That’s why in any “roughing-it” situation, whether intentional—like a long hike on a backwoods trail—or unplanned—like a tire blow-out in Death Valley—it pays to carry water. Maybe a canteen set, like this one from “Army Universe” is the answer. The seller promotes the product on the Amazon site this way: “Army Universe Olive Drab Genuine GI 1 Quart Plastic Canteen & Olive Drab MOLLE II Canteen Cover & Utility Pouch.” Turn-around time on this product is good, but the minute you open the package, you discover that what you get in not exactly what the ad copy implies. The text would have have been much more accurate had it read: “...Olive Drab Genuine GI 1 Quart Plastic Canteen BOTTLE and CHINESE IMPORT Canteen Cover”--because as near as I can tell, that’s what you really get. As I said, the carrier is made in China. That, in and of itself, doesn’t make it bad, it just makes it something other than what I thought I was getting. The carrier is a bit oversize. I’m guessing this is to accommodate a mess tin/bowl (not included), though there are draw-strings to cinch up the top of the carrier to more closely conform to the bottle. The attachment mechanism, as advertised, is two MOLLE straps with snaps. I won’t pretend to be a military canteen expert but I’ll say this: I own at least a half-dozen other examples of real mil-surplus canteen carriers and this design is my least favorite. I think it’s the odd way the retention flap functions. Yeah, it holds the bottle in, but it’s clumsy, neither shaped nor sized to provide meaningful protection from “stuff” entering the top of the carrier. As to the bottle itself, it’s said to be made in America, and the seller claims it’s “BPA-free.” I decided to dig into that. The bottles are stamped with a CAGE code (9N852)—which designates the manufacturer of mil contract items like this. I won’t belabor the point here except to say that I looked up the code, found the Kansas-based manufacturer, and spoke with one of their engineers who confirmed three things: The bottle is indeed American made, the bottle is fashioned from high-density polyethylene, and that it is, in fact, BPA-free. It is in essence an NSN 8465-00-889-3744 GI bottle. So where does this leave us? Is this a canteen or a “can’t-een”? I think the bottle is on-spot, the carrier is... meh... OK. I personally prefer a different design. Bottom line is that you can store, carry, and drink your water with confidence.

This Canteen looks just like the ones at the Army Surplus store. The pouch it comes with is high quality, It has good stitching. It would work both on a belt or a Molle backpack. And the Pouch comes with a few small pockets for other stuff. The Canteen does not leak. This is great for someone who likes Army stuff.
