Would buy again
It's really excellent. The lock is actually tricky enough that you have time to consider if you Really Need Cake, which is great. The only thing that could possibly make it better is a little flap to let steam out, but tbh, unless you also have a cake hunting cat/dog, you're only putting cold cake in it anyway 🤣We found the cake slithered a bit in the back of the car, but we hadn't stuck it to the base or anything, and we literally just wanted it on the back seat so tbh, that was user error not a fault 🙈Would Def buy again.

Works perfectly, simple to use
Wanted this for our Christmas cake. It is very well-designed. The side latches drop into the holes on each side, simply push them down and they lock in place. No risk at all of a cake falling out. Perfect.

The lock does actually seem to work even though it is as bit flimsy
Initially worried about locking mechanism but so far no issues. My daughter has pinched my first one so that must be a seal of approval. I had to purchase a second. Great value for money and a good size.

Great product
This is perfect , very sturdy , you can safely transport things cake or flan ect , and if you turn the base upside down you can use the compartments fir dips and nibbles
User
Inexpensive and does the job
Ideal to keep cakes and other food covered or to transport. Not as airtight as a tine, but better than an open try. Very good value.
User
Great value for money, sturdy and well built.
I made this purchase to keep cakes fresh and soft for a few days since a prepare them to be eaten for breakfast. It fits the purpose perfectly and it is very well built and sturdy, I haven't used it much to carry cakes around, but it seems safe to use the handle for this and it closes safely.

Very useful dessert/crudités carrier
I chose this particular cake carrier because it’s height is much lower than most.I didn’t need one that could take a three layer masterpiece, when my usual offerings are cheesecake or pie!My basic need is to make sure it gets to it’s destination without coating my car/passengers or the inside of the carrier with my delicious fayre. It has a cutting guide on the base, which can be flipped over to take crisps/crudités etc.I also use it as a cover on the table- to keep Tiddles off your nibbles! Can be washed in the dishwasher & seems sturdy so far.
User
Good and solid
Very sturdy, the locking feature is great for carrying cakes and bunsAnd if you turn the base over its good for picnics
