Great qualityThis is the real deal for fermentation. I had one fermentation go a little too long and the bottle held up and so did the seal to the pressure. I am very thankful that I was outside when I popped open that bottle because it shot out about 5 feet. I would suggest anyone learning to ferment always pop your seal outside so that you do not have a disaster on the inside of your house. I am very pleased with the thickness of Glass and the quality of the hardware on this bottle. It really holds up to someone learning how to ferment for the first time.

These bottles are thick and very well made! They are priced better then other bottles I purchased from a different seller. The stopper seals are even sturdier. I am very impressed. I wish I would not have spent more on the lesser quality bottles. Don't look any further. These are the best!

First case arrived as a box of shattered glass - replacement arrived OK, so I guess shipping is hit or miss.As for the bottles - I've been using them for the second ferment of my homebrew kombuch and water kefir - and they're working as well as any other swingtop I've used. Some noted challenges filling them, but if you use a narrow neck vented full (y'know, the kind for filling bottles) they're absolutely fine. It's important to note that the swingtop seals seem to hold well enough for the 2F carbonation, as some of the cheaper ones don't.

Overpriced

Nice thick glass bottles, they even sent me a new box when the first one I received had been handled by Ace Ventura.The stopper seals are good quality, I had no issues with air escaping. Perfect for a variety of uses! They'll hold up for a long time. They're perfect sizes too!

Like the bottles overall. The size is great, the seal works great. The form factor, basically everything about them is exactly what I wanted and performs well at doing what they're designed to do. Only downside, one of the bottles arrived pretty broken, part nearly crushed. Dusty glass particles everywhere. I could tell upon receipt at least that something was broken, so I took precautions. Glad it was only the one, five is sufficient for me. Just hope for better somehow in the future.

I decided to try my hand at making some cider and these bottles were recommended to me and I've been really happy with how they've worked out. They seal good and are reasonably easy to clean.

Perfect for kefir.
