Great (affordable alternative) for DIY air horns!
I mounted this compressor on my truck to use with an air horn I got from a friend. I will note that the wires definitely get warm, but I have never noticed fire sparking temperatures like others have mentioned. The build quality is overall good despite the small wires. The tank also holds a good amount of air, and I get about a 14-second honk with the supplied air lines attached to my horn. This compressor motor is also on par volume-wise with my buddy's "Hornblasters" compressor. It is also significantly lighter, making installation easy. To fill up from empty is about 2 minutes. The pressure regulator also seems to work as expected, despite other reviews noting concerns. I will also mention I separated the compressor motor from the tank in order to fit it in the space I have, which was easy and didn't cause any issues. My main advice to others is make sure you put it on a switched relay just in case your install leaks a bit. Otherwise you will get annoyed from it constantly running.

Works great. However, the fittings are not SEA thread or metric thread. If you want to do something other that use the supplied fittings you’ll need to drill and tap new threats. Or just strip them till it fits

Cheap made
Had a ton of leaks, would not build pressure, when trying to snug, a piece broke. Can't find part nowhere. Save your money, buy different

Amazing!
Honestly is really good. Fills the tank from empty till full in about 30 seconds and it's enough air to make my 8 tier train horn louder than the trains that I live by. I can also hold it down and the same volume of noise will last till the fuse overloads which I haven't gotten close to that cuz when I use it the compressor loads more air in. Seemingly endless supply of air. Would definitely recommend for the price. AMAZING!!
