Easy to apply after following instructions on how to soften and creates a perfect seal.

Just planted a few bushes and young trees only to have the voles come to feast and strip the bark on the bottom of the stalks. Applied this around all the stems and base to close up the damage and to deter further feasting and it has worked successfully. Even after multiple waterings and rain it has stayed on and not budged. You must work fast once you heat it up to become pliable but once on this wax is a life safer. Would highly recommend.

Last winter's radical temperature swings had caused severe bark cracking and peeling on several of my Japanese maples. I used this product to seal the bare spots on the trunk, preventing insects from getting in, to prevent moisture loss, and so moisture could still flow upwards to the higher branches and leaves. I'll have to wait until spring for a final verdict, but it looks like this saved my trees. My only complaint is that the product needs warming to spread well, but the tin can't be microwaved, amd heating it on the stove results in a tin that is hot and dangerous to handle. The product itself is great though.

The wax works really well. Heat the wax with a propane torch to soften it up and apply it with a small brush. It goes on well. But I would recommend gloves because it is sticky. My grafts for this year are sprouting out and doing well. I will by it again if I run out.

The best service I ever experienced. I ordered this product for pruning the fruit trees. I am very satisfied with it.
