Scandvik Recessed Transom Shower w/6' Hose - White

Replaced my original Scandvik transom shower on my Four Winns Horizon 260. This setup is solid. The kit includes everything and the mounting holes line up perfectly with my original. The kit even included an improved connection adapter - my original Scanvik connected to my onboard water line via an adapter with a hose clamp. The kit adapter allowed me to couple the shower hose to onboard water line without the need for a hose clamp. Installation took no more than 15 minutes (5 minutes of which was to retrieve the small hose washer that I dropped into my bilge).

I had the hardest time finding the OEM replacement for the fresh water wash down on my Caravelle 24 ft walk a round. The was the EXACT replacement, looks and works like new.

Replaced the original perfectly -- can't tell you how rare it is in boat maintenance to be able to get a consistent, exact replacement product many years later. No retrofitting necessary, although the cap was improved. American companies seem to rarely offer replacement products over a long period of time. Good quality, old one lasted about 20 years before it cracked and needed to be replaced. Very happy.

My old freshwater washdown finally ceased up. The housing had fallen apart years ago and I have been searching for a cover for the hole for a long time.I finally found the exact replacement for my hose. I was very happy to see that it also includes the housing and cap that hide the hose while stored.Very easy to install.Helpful tip: use teflon tape on the threads when connecting the sprayer portion to the hose. Mine had small leak but quickly fixed with thread tape.

Despite draining the fresh water tank ever year before the winter I've had to replace these twice now. They keep cracking down the body from what I'm assuming is freezing water inside the line. That's not the shower's fault it's my own from not disconnecting. For what they are these things are pretty expensive and it stings a bit to spend that much on something so small and simple. With that being said these are built very well, just disconnect them if freezing temps are a concern. When I purchased this the entire kit was much cheaper than just the sprayer so look at your options.

We used this to replace the original transom shower on our cruiser. The base fitting did not fit into our space, but we mainly needed the new shower head. Has much better water flow and like that you have a button to control water flow without having to use both hands. wish we upgraded before the old one decided to crack!

Just what I needed. My old one, 14 yrs old, needed to be replaced. the new one was a perfect match.

Spring inside old one wore out. Replacement works like a champ.
