This is awesome. Im not using it for corn, but actually to process clay powder. Even outside its intended uses, im running dry clay dirt, and small stones through it. Its vert well made, extremely sturdy and well made, definitely going to last for years! Hands down the best value for the money, it feels heavy, strong, just solid. Has an adjustable clamp mount so it can fit on any table, counter, 2x8, you name it. The fact I only use it for something its not designed to even do speaks to its versatility, this thing is AWESOME.

I purchased this to grind clay fine for making pottery. I'm knew to the hobby and don't that much at this point but this grinder seems solid (it's made of cast iron after all!) and seems to work quite well. Shipping was faster than I expected. One small quibble is that the clamp has some ridges on the clamping surface that make securing it to a flat surface such as a table less secure. Other reviewers have noted this also. (I may just file these off). Other than that, it seems well made and it definitely grinds up the pottery to a very fine powder.

I am happily impressed. Made in Colombia, not China. The plates align well. Large pad for clamping underneath table. Beautiful enameled finish, nicely boxed. Have not had a chance to put it through all its paces over time, but it does grind well. The hopper is only 5", but it still holds a sizeable amount, and unlike other brands, there were no dents in the hopper: smooth and professional. Someone took some time here to do a nice job on the design details. All in all, a real bargain and an aesthetic pleasure at the price. A few suggestions: Add a rubber pad under the feet for clamping. Even while tightly clamped, it tends to slide on the table top, due to the smooth enamel finish. Add a splash guard over the top of the grinding plates so material doesn't splatter out the top.

Works great and produces good flour. However, clamping it to the table didn't want to hold it still. It moved around some and I had to hold onto it.

Works as it should. Pretty sturdy too ... Wish there was a dust cover though. 5 Stars 🤙

I definitely Can't grind anything to "Flour," but that wasn't what I wanted today. I get a course meal. I use it to grind whole seeds for wild birds. I save money this way. -- I wish the stem of the internal Auger were smaller so I could attach an electric drill. That was my wish when I bought it. I am not giving fewer stars for that reason because the designer wasn't intending that. The two grinding faces are Not parallel, and is probably why I can't get a finer grind. YOU might be unhappy about this machining error. I'm just after something smaller than whole corn kernels for the smaller birds, so it works for me.
