IVS108-1-WH Classics 7-Piece Dining Set, White

I got this table in white and it looks great! My fourteen year old son had no trouble assembling it on his own. The chairs come already assembled. The only thing is that the table legs aren’t too far apart so a smaller umbrella base would be needed. Overall though the table and chairs look great! I am so happy I bought this!

The bolts and screws provided were the wrong size! The provided bolts were 2 1/4 inch instead of 2 1/2 (the packaging list said they were supposed to be 2 1/2 inches), so they were not long enough to fit through the feet of the table and into the legs. The screw (threads?), .27 inches, were too big to screw into the table's holes- after trying to put them in both manually and with a electric screwdriver, the screws were getting completely shredded, the electric screwdriver was burning up, and we still could not get the screws in! I called Amazon and they said we could send back the whole table, but all we needed was the correct bolts and screws, and sending the whole table back seemed like a big pain. The customer service representative gave me the email address and number for Ivy Terrace, but my email was returned by Ivy Terrace Bed and Breakfast, so Amazon gave me the wrong information. After a trip to Home Depot for the correct bolts and slightly smaller screws (1/4 inch), we were able to put the table together. While the table is now assembled and looks great, Ivy Terrace needs to be more careful with their packaging so other customers do not have to spend hours sorting this out!

Nice but expensive

I had no problems assembling this table. Supplied hardware was correct and instructions clear. Lost one star because a few of the screws used in the table that were (or should have been) part of the factory assembly were loose, stripped and or missing. Other than that all was good, chairs came fully assembled and required no re-tightening of fasteners. I like the look and chairs and table feel very solid and stable. Not sure what other reviewer meant when they said the supplied screws were "too short" and then the right screws from home depot were "1/4" shorter". Also not sure what they mean by "my drill was burning up". If I had to guess they cross threaded the machine screws into the leg because rather than start them by hand they tried to start them using their drill (a big no no) and the drill was "burning up" because of that. But guessing the supplied hardware was correct and issues were due to inexperience of the assembler.
