Cozy and Post-Modern Minimal Style
The color of the chair is a taupe cream color. Up close on the boucle fabric are deeper weaves that are brownish lavender—it’s a gorgeous and luxurious fabric that I predict will camouflage dirt and stains well. The back slants back independently of the seat. It keeps its position and at the widest slant, the chair stays balanced well. It does not feel like it will topple backwards (which my old chair did). The seat is wide. The arms are low which adds to the post-modern aesthetic of the chair. My husband says he would have liked to be able to raise the arms for support if needed, but I don’t require that. My arms rest fine on my desk. The seat raises and lowers with ease. Assembly was super easy. The chair came with an Allen wrench and that was all that was needed to put it together. I got an extra screw which I will keep in my toolbox but I don’t suspect I will ever need it. The chair was a great value for me. I got it on sale and was in my budget. I first saw the chair at Office Depot—they will not match Amazon’s price. I was okay with that since Amazon sent me the chair very quickly—less than 2 days. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this chair to any remote home-bound worker. It looks expensive, but is very affordable for me.

LONG REVIEW, BUT I DON'T CARE...I'M LOVING THIS NEW OFFICE CHAIR!
I actually first encountered this chair at an "Office Depot", where it listed for $319.99, after combing through tons of disappointing reviews on Amazon, and I found it to be quite comfortable. I had already visited a couple of other stores, trying out various office chairs, because I just thought it was too risky to purchase a chair "sight un-sat" (yes, you read that correctly) online. And, besides, I wasn't in the market for a "light sand"-colored chair covered in cloth. Most executive office chairs are your typical black leather versions, and this is what I had in mind...especially since I'm a guy. I was quite surprised at how uncomfortable the vast majority of these "leather standards" were (I'm talking about 95% of them...many of them in the $400 to $500 range), and I couldn't help but think, "My gosh, how hard could it possibly BE to manufacture a comfortable chair with some decent amenities?" With most of them, it seemed that the biggest issue was simply an issue related to cushioning (either foam that was too dense or a LACK of foam altogether). In any case, I went home "empty-handed" and disheartened. I almost passed on getting this chair but, after going back on Amazon, and doing some more research, I came across this chair once again...except, this time, it was more than 50% off the price that it was going for at "Office Depot". Needless to say, this made it irresistible! So, I went for it. And, man, am I glad I did! Not only is this chair comfortable (to me anyway), but the arms sit low (something I wanted, but was having difficulty finding), and it reclines substantially (not all reclining chairs do). It doesn't have a foot-rest but, honestly, most chairs that feature a foot-rest, don't have one that extends far enough to be useful anyway. So that wasn't a deal-breaker. But the biggest surprise is how nice it looks in my home office! My first impression was that this was, more or less, the kind of chair that a woman would appreciate. But, fortunately, "first impressions" are often misleading. This is a VERY sharp-looking chair, and, so far, I couldn't be happier! It seems like this color would go with just about anything. Now, to be fair, I HAVE read a few reviews where the individual found this chair to be quite uncomfortable, and this seems to be related to height more than anything else. And that's a valid point. Me? I'm 5'9", and the head-rest (when I'm sitting straight up, and not "slouching") fits right about at the nape of my neck, which I find comfortable. When I'm reclining, the head-rest sits directly on the back of my head, which, again (in that position), I find quite comfortable. The low arms allow me to push the chair all the way up to my desk...something my old chair couldn't do. And, having a small office space, I can appreciate that. I don't expect this chair to last decades (although my old chair DID...She had just turned 25...Yeah, I got my money's worth), but who knows? Given what I paid, if it only lasts a few years, I will STILL consider it well worthwhile and a good deal. As long as you're the "right size" (whatever that means), I can highly recommend this classy-looking piece of furniture! My FIRST recommendation, though, would be to head over to your nearest "Office Depot", and see if it's a good fit before ordering it on Amazon. If you're like me, you're not going to want to dis-assemble the whole thing, and ship it back. It comes in a large box, and is quite heavy. That would be a nightmare...for me anyway. I put it together by myself, but, as Others have already mentioned, it would be easier with two people. I'm no "handyman", so, if I can put it together, most people won't have too much of a problem with it. It comes with an Allen wrench, and that's all you need. Anyway, if it turns out to be a "good fit", you'll be happier than a "pig in poop" that you made the purchase! Best of Luck! EDIT: I ordered another identical chair (mainly because it was STILL on sale [more than HALF OFF!]) before the tariffs take full effect, and I just received it ONE DAY after placing the order! And I don't even have "Amazon Prime"! Now, I haven't "un-boxed" this newer one, yet, so I'm hoping that there won't be any problems related to shipping or construction of this particular chair. But, should everything be as okay as the first one was, I will have to sing as many praises for the "speedy shipping" as I will for the chair, itself! It's worth noting that I have, now, paid LESS for TWO chairs than I would've paid for ONE elsewhere! Needless to say, I'm happy!

Nice chair
Easy to assemble. Comfortable. I like that the chair doesn't have those side bolsters on the seat and it isn't leather. I did find that the arm rests are a bit low but I'll get used to it.

Comfortable 🤤
Oh mer gerd!!!! Let me start with my stats 6ft 185 Lean The top of the chair nestles right where my skull meets my neck and it’s amazing. I hate when chairs are so tall they push my head forward and down. And it’s like sitting on a couch. My butt has 0 natural padding and so chairs always hurt after a while. This feels like sitting on a cloud. The back is super supportive My only negative is that the height from the floor isn’t as high as I’d like but my desk moves up and down and at its lowest setting it works out so I’m ok with it. The arms are high enough even though they would benefit from being an inch higher but it’s not a bad thing just a preference. This is my third office chair in a year because they all suck but I think I’ve found the one 😍 Oh and super easy to assemble only 7 screws and it came with an Allen wrench. Honestly the easiest I’ve ever had to build…

Great style and comfort
I've been looking for a replacement chair for a while that doesn't look too much like office furniture and can handle long workdays. This seems to be it. I saw it at an office supply store, but for double the price - same brand, same features. Time will tell how it holds up. The chair it replaced was awesome until it wasn't. They can't all handle more than occasional use. This one has good lumbar support and cushion that is firm but comfortable. The color and design work well with my office, and I think it would mesh well with a variety of styles. The recline feature is nice in that it is mainly the back, not so much the seat. The seat is wide enough for me, and with the lower arms, I can sit however I want. Some may want a deeper seat, but this one is about average for a chair this style. The lower arms will not support your elbows for keyboard and mouse if you have them set on a tray below your desk, so keep that in mind. I am comfortable with the keyboard, but may get a small pillow for the armrest to make using the mouse more comfortable. The only thing I would change is lower wheels, but that is just because I prefer a slightly shorter chair. Even fully lowered it's just a bit higher than I would like. I may remove the wheels and put glides on instead.

Same chair only half price
After using several name brand bonded leather chairs that failed quickly I decided I wanted a fabric covered chair for my home office. I operate a small business and use the office several hours daily. I checked out the local office supply stores and found this chair there and was very impressed with the comfort and build quality. However the price was a little steep and I decided to keep shopping. While later searching Amazon for fabric covered office chairs I was pleasantly surprised that the same chair popped up at a MUCH better price. Same chair, same brand, same fabric, only for half price and free delivery. I ordered it and am so happy with the results. It is very comfortable and supportive for hours at a time. Highly recommend the chair and purchase it from Amazon and save money

Assembly Issues - Lopsided
I really wanted to love this chair—the fabric is great and it’s very comfortable. It is a bit tall for my frame (I’m 5’2”), but the bigger issue is the assembly. Like others have mentioned, the holes don’t line up properly, which makes the back of the chair sit uneven and appear lopsided.

Classy chair
I looked though hundreds of chairs for my home office. I wanted a certain look, and this gave it. The fabric is nubby and has a lavender hue with white . The chair is reasonably comfortable and looks fantastic. The height adjustment works well. I don’t work full time from home, so i’m usually not sitting in it for more than 2 hours at a time, so I am not sure it would be great for a full day of work. After a month or so of medium use it does show some wear on the fabric which brought it from 5 to 4 stars for me, but I got the look I wanted and if it lasts a couple years i’ll be happy.
