This has been the best supplement for our family. We have two sons with ASD, and have worked a lot with finding natural things to help them. Our oldest had major aggression, 0 focus, always hyper, and sensory processing struggles that caused him many meltdowns and angry outbursts toward everyone every day and bedtime was always a fight. We'd already worked on a lot with diet, lifestyle, and balancing deficiencies then our youngest was born. He was our severe son from birth. Our oldest aggression went down every day till it was pretty rare to have an outburst, his meltdowns did the same and slowly turned to the typical 5yr old where he'd get upset but work through in a minute or two, he finally could focus on what he was doing, remembering what we and he said, and sensory wise he was able to handle being wet, different foods, noise, and he was gaining in social cues too which were a big struggle for him prior too. Neural balance has changed our life! My 9 year old son who is on the more severe end of the spectrum had become obsessed with having every person/animal in the right place. I ordered the NB for my son who is four years old on February 4. He was diagnosed a year ago with Autism Moderate to Severe. He also was diagnosed with significant development delays, ADHD, and with Sensory Processing Disorder. Every child is different and you have to learn how much of the product for each child. There is a very supportive Facebook page with other parents who have purchased this product as well. The first time I gave my son was a full scoop in excitement to be the mom who posts the life changing review. The next morning he woke up we had a doctor appointment two hours away. When we arrived his pull up was soaked. Dripping to be exact. I posted to the group and was assured by the makers and other parents that it was his body adjusting to the enzemzes. I however was not going to complain because for my son his diapers are always dry and that isn't a good thing. So I adjusted the dose down to a fourth a scoop at bed time. I wish I could give it to him twice daily but we have an hour drive to school in the AM and he refuses to eat or drink until he gets to school. About two weeks later I adjusted to half a scoop. I have been giving my son this product twice daily to help with irritability, attention/ focus and social problems. It has been a little over two weeks which is probably soon to see clear results. I will update after 30 days on his behavior. I can say that this product is way too sweet. I mixed it with juice the first time and it was not drinkable. I mix it with water and it tastes like liquid chewable vitamins, which is tolerable, however I gave it to my son on an empty stomach and it made him feel sick. I just have to make sure he eats something before he takes it. The other problem which does not sit well with my sensory sensitive son is that it has floating fiber chunks that do not dissolve. He has always had an issue with strings in his food and this really bothers him. A few years ago it probably would have made him throw up but thankfully now at 9.5 years old I can just nag him to drink most of it each time. I will update at 30 days his behavior changes, if any. I am not sure if I will buy this again at this point.

As someone who has historically had focus issues (no diagnoses), I heard about this product from a parent of a child with autism who I work with. I was curious how it worked for someone with general focus issues. The product took about 30 minutes to kick it, and then provided a calming effect for the next 30 minutes. After that, for the next three hours, I felt that I was able to be hyper focused and work straight through on writing that I had to complete, almost to the point of losing track of time. If there was a version with no sugar substitutes (unsweetened), and then I can add my own sugar if needed, I would be more likely to take it on a daily basis.

I am so heartbroken this supplement did not work for my son . Also it aggravate his Symptoms and made him unbearable. He is not a bad kid but definitely needs something to help calm him a bit . He can get overexcited in new situations. The week he was on this was horrible . He was aggressive and had trouble sleeping . He would constantly talk back and seemed to have no impulse control . I finally had enough and stopped the supplement. Now my house is much more at peace . I hope it works for the next family that purchase this product but it did not work for mine .

My daughter has been on this for 8 months and we love it!
