I really enjoyed this, it was a fast read and I think both Ian and Cort are likable characters, I think Cort’s been through some things, excited to find out more!

I seem to keep finding web comics in book form first.
Read this and then went and found the online comic so I could continue the story.

Really want the next volume now!
I really loved this queer YA comic about two young men falling in a very tangled attraction. Neither of our two heroes is initially that easy to like, but as the story developed, I couldn't help but hope they'd figure themselves out and find a way to de-complicate everything so they have a chance together. Which will apparently be happening only in a future volume, because teenagers, what can you do? The art style is distinctive, with super clean penciling and a huge variety of paneling styles. I'm definitely looking forward to a next book.Content note: violence and homophobia. Also, one of the characters has a girfriend so he's cheating - again with the whole "teenager" thing, they don't always make the best choices. (Granted, neither do adults.)Diversity note: Malin Rydén is queer.

Loved the premise, frustrated by the pacing
A very slow burn, in which the characters circle around each other for most of the book. I wanted more romance, fewer familiar "teen/school moments". Most of the plot in this book revolves around someone getting beaten up, and then the question of whether he’s going to tell the authorities. It took a little for me to get used to the art, as well. It’s all sepia monochrome, which looks good on screen, but requires a bit more focus (and a good light source) when trying to read in print. The expressions are terrific, though, and the dialogue authentic.Probably best read in conjunction with the second volume, coming soon.

Unexpectedly Moving!
I found this book online by pure chance and ended up reading the whole thing, even though I normally don't read either comics or young adult fiction. I found the slowly evolving love story to be actually very moving and very easy to relate to even for someone who is not a teen or even queer, like me. The basic premise, as I see it, is that these two characters have to allow themselves to be vulnerable, they have to let go of their emotional and social posturing, and they have to be able to face their own past (and all the hurt they have pushed down), in order to be able to give and receive love in a way that will ultimately help them to heal and move forward and be full and real as human beings. I think anyone at all can relate to that experience -- it's kind of the core component of all of our "love stories" as they evolve in real life. And the characters' emotional flailing and awkwardness is very realistic and compelling and it makes you cheer for them. It also makes me cheer all of us -- for anyone who is trying to find the courage to really love another human being and let themselves be loved.

Great art & captivating story
I love this series! I've been reading the webcomic for a while now. The art is really, really good and the artist does an amazing job of portraying the characters' emotions. The story, of course, is incredible. All of the characters have so much complexity to them, every single one is relatable in some way, for better or worse. One of the leads is gay, the other bisexual, but while being LBGT is a main part of the story, it isn't the ONLY part of the story. You can really tell that the authors planned out exactly where they wanted this series to go. Can't wait for the next volume!

Full of adorable cinnamon buns.
By far one of my favourite indie comics. I'd read the comic on tapas previously so I bought the book purely because of how much I enjoyed it, and the beautiful art. The story is brilliant so far with diverse, wonderfully written characters and, as mentioned, absolutely beautiful art work. This isn't a complete story- just part one but I can't wait to read the next parts! The print quality of the book is fantastic, lovely thick pages and crisp lines. If you like indie comics and romance and intrigue then definitly give it a try!
