I love the compartments and all but I must not have been drying the inside of the lid well enough because little black dots which I’m assuming are mold appeared. I love the detachable ice pack as well I feel it keeps my baby’s food cold longer. It’s easy to open and close although not always super easy to get the ice pack unstuck from the insert. I’ve bought another so I’d recommend it

I bought this one because I thought the ice tray concept was interesting but I don't care for it as much as our Bentgo two latch option. I use a Columbia ice pack and I prefer it because it doesn't take up as much space in my very limited freezer. The way this ice tray is made to go in the box is awkward to put into place and also awkward to fit in the freezer The Columbia ice pack is slim and stays frozen to very cold from 6:30 Am to after 5 Pm. I like the extra security of knowing my kids lunch was kept properly chilled. How the ice tray and the food compartment fits together can sometimes be harder to fit into place. I'm not a fan of how it latches at all and I won't buy another box with the single latch like this, sometimes if the ice tray isn't in there totally perfectly it also adds to the problem with shutting properly. I thought the latch would get better as it's used but it tends to be a tight latch and can appear latched when it's not. It has to click really well. There's been times I felt it click but it still wasn't fully clicked shut. It's my main reason for disliking this box. Having said that, it's sturdy. I much prefer the two latch option and won't purchase this style again. I will use it but to get my money out of it but I'm probably going to buy a second two latch box at some point.

Love this lunch box. I initially got this lunch box for my 2 year old after the cheaper store brand broke. I love the size and stability of this lunchbox. I now have it in different colors for my 7 and 4 year old too. They can close it independently. The freezer insert keeps everything fresh. Definitely recommend!

I really would like this lunch box to work for a long school-day lunch and snack, keeping it cold for at least a few hours until lunch time. But the cold pack didn't last even an hour and doesn't keep food cold, even when I put in cold fruits and snacks. If you are putting in a small sandwich, it should be ok, but for thicker bread, a muffin, or a croissant, this will smudge it. So, it will be a no-go for us.
