It works very well last a long time. I’m usually getting one a month from the store. This one I’ve had for a little while and I like it and I didn’t have to go shopping at several different stores to find the right size.

Works great as a trickle charger for gen 3 stick up camera. This does not allow you to switch to electrical power supply however keeps my battery up to 100%. Not designed to keep up on high use area or 24/7 recording. I use it at our front gate and have it linked to a high resolution camera 20 ft. back

This cable is not compatible in the sense that it is not powerful enough to by pass the RING camera sensor to detect that it is wired. In the ring app it will trigger a warning sign and think that the camera is battery powered when it’s not. Unfortunately, you have to use a RING brand barrel plug wire for this type of camera since it an older model. It is a 3rd gen camera.

I've had the Ring Spotlight Camera on my home for nearly a year using battery only. The battery life lasts about 2 months after complete charge, but it always seems to be completely drained when I have the least time to take it down and recharge. This power adapter has taken that chore off my plate, allowing the camera to work 24/7 without battery saving settings.

This obviously works because I haven’t charged the battery since installing this cord but… it gives a warning that “this device stopped receiving power” and it thinks it’s connected to solar. I am pretty sure it’s because it knows it’s not from ring. But it works.

There is a hole in the back 9f my outside battery cam. I used to have to change battery often due to weather and a animals knocking battery loose. Electr8c cord elim8nated most pesky not petty problems

I purchased this adapter to charge my RING battery outdoor camera after discovering that our cold weather was quickly draining the power and even with a 4W solar charger, it hit 0% within about a month. It was obvious that a battery-only camera was not going to work, so this adapter was selected. There are no instructions but it is obvious that it plugs into a standard AC outlet (fortunately, there is one about 2 meters from the camera) and into the camera. After doing this, the RING app detected AC power and prompted me to change the settings to power and rebooted the camera to my home network. Very, very easy. I now wish I had not wasted the money on the RING solar panel.

Bought 2 of these... They DO NOT WORK with Stickup Cam (Gen 3) even though they say they will. The camera will give you an error message stating there is no power connected.Hook it up and the camera says it's not connected to power. I verified the power source and all connections... Camera isn't getting correct power/voltage.I then tried them with a Ring Outdoor Cam Plus and these power supplies will work on that model.I can only conclude that the power being supplied from this unit is insufficient to properly power the Stickup Cameras.Don't waste your money on these... They are junk.

Did not work for the ring camera

Doesn't keep work with my wireless ring cameras to keep them powered.
