Good suction nice iPhone interface a bit noisy at full power
Amazing vacuum it does a great job. I have it cleaning my entire house in the late morning and then doing the high traffic areas again in the evening. But full suction is quite noisy, but it picks up all the dirt! The self emptying is great. I switched out the bag every 35 to 45 days. I found a source for decent off-brand bags for about one or two dollars each. Filters, brushes, and other parts I buy original from the manufacturer who often runs specials and their prices are reasonable. Paired with Alexa, I can just tell Alexa “clean my house” or “stop cleaning” any off schedule cleaning required I’ve had this for over a year now and absolutely love it. The picture shows how it’s able to park itself even in a narrow space.

Don't buy this one
First, I am a huge fan of Anker/Eufy and have a ton of their products - from charging to power banks to smart door locks and even a Eufy G40. I have used them satisfactorily for years but I don't know if I will after my most recent experience. I have had a G40 model for almost 2 years and grabbed this at Christmas as a gift for myself to upgrade and move the G40 to the upstairs. It was a mistake. The features sound great, but it wasn't a couple of months before it stopped working completely. Pros: 1.) It has a fancy map my previous model did not. It can be edited to block off areas instead of physically moving things to stop the vacuum from going near cords that may be under furniture or down steps which was really important to me as I have a couple of rooms that are a step down and my previous vacuum had to be blocked with a baby gate. This was fantastic! 2.) Self emptying and auto roller brush hair cutter. Super win! Problems: 1.) It gets stuck constantly. It would stop in the middle of the room with a roller brush stuck error. I would pick it up and look at it and the brush was clean, telling it to resume would allow it to continue on. This would happen half dozen times during a cleaning cycle. If you ran it unsupervised the battery would have just drained and died waiting for you to hit the resume button. 2.) Sometimes it would get lost and instead of returning to base when the battery was low it would circle around a room until depleted. The base is in the center hall of the house and not obstructed by any furniture. The map is correct. I had not rearranged the house. 3.) It cannot handle moving across carpet. It would constantly complain about being stuck (not the same roller brush error) when moving across low pile rugs that the G40 never had an issue with. This was rather comical as it has massive monster truck wheels and a suspension that the G40 did not yet it couldn't go across a rug without problems. 4.) It would frequently lose connection to the wifi/base station and I would have to reset the wifi. The router is 10 feet away with no obstructions between the base and the router. The G40 is on a whole different level of the house and still does not do this. 5.) Eventually it stopped cutting the roller brush and stop emptying the dust bin. It would announce it was doing these things but did not do them. Finally over a week ago I tried to use it for a room cleaning, it left the station, then stopped a foot away. The battery was dead. I reseated the battery, cleaned the contacts, all the suggestions from the support site and it still wouldn't work. Powering on shows it's at 1%, pushing it into the base charger results in "charging" then when it gets to 3% it shuts down and drains again. I contacted support, did these suggestions a second time as recommended, same result. Sent them the requested video of it doing nothing. They said they would replace it if this didn't result in a solution. I replied it did not and got a second email telling me to do these same steps a third time and that they did not promise to replace it and to show them where they said they would (it's literally in a previous email on the same support ticket). I responded with that info and asked if they had additional suggestions and it has been radio silence. I am currently sitting here with a dead vacuum, outside of the return window, & dusty dirty floors. Don't buy this model.

Absolutely love Spazz!
I just received my robovac this afternoon, and let me tell ya: I already absolutely love it. I have named him Spazz, since the first time using him, he went in all sorts of seemingly random directions and was completely aggressive with ANYthing in his way. I'm talking full - bore, ram into it and push it. Then, as I realized, he was simply mapping his parameters and once he learned them (which didn't take long) he just did his thing and went right back to the charging station and rested. Here is my feedback: 1. I had a little trouble with the app. I tried logging in several different times with several different passwords and I kept getting a very cryptic message, that wasn't even complete! Just a quick flash on my screen and I cannot for the life of me tell you HOW I ended up finally logging in. But I did and will never log out. Ever. Just in case. 2. It took me a few tries (before I came to the conclusion that it was my error not the machine) to get Spazz to connect to the app. Little did I know that since the power station (some like it hot) is positioned relatively close to the Internet router already, I did not need to find it, but simply press the start/home buttons at the same time to reset the wifi and then connect to the app via bluetooth. 3. I am assuming Bluetooth always needs to be on in order to control Spazz, but at night when my phone is charging I'll turn it off and turn it back on in the morning. Not sure I like the idea of always having Bluetooth running since it is a battery drainer. 4. I also am not a fan of allowing ANY thing to use my location, except GPS, but alas, if I want to control Spazz remotely (this unit did not come with a remote, btw) I am at the mercy of this requirement. I also have outdoor cameras by the same company, so they know my location already anyway I suppose. 5. I like the suction Spazz has: he even picked up a sock that my boyfriend lacksidasically left on the floor. Which caused a red flashing error and the voice on the charging port yelled at me saying to clean the roller brush. So I flipped Spazz over and lo and behold, there was a sock halfway in and halfway out of the roller brush. Pulled it out and good as new. So, suction is AMAZING. 6. Speaking of suction, he does a great job of getting up dog hair. I have 2 dogs, one with very thin hair and the other with a wiry undercoat and it is all gone within the cleaning time. 7. And touching on that aspect, it really doesn't take THAT long. Yes, it takes longer than I do BUT I also do not go in any kind of pattern like Spazz NOR do I go over the same area more than once. In essence, he is cleaning my floors better than I do and I'm kinda ticked about it. 8. The fact that I can control how much suction he has using the app is great. Even though he features a BoostIQ, changing the suction depending on the material, I still like that I can get a more thorough cleaning using MAX. Does it use more battery? Yes. Does it clean more? Perhaps. Does it make me FEEL like it's cleaning more? Absolutely. 9. The mapping accuracy is indeed, well, accurate. I moved him upstairs to do my two bedrooms and the hallway and at first he was like, 'uhhhh I haven't been here yet. What's going on? Where am I? Who are you?!' but then he settled down and mapped out the areas just fine and went along his merry way. 10. I have to de-snag him from cords every once in awhile and give him a little nudge transitioning from the downstairs hallway to the bathroom, but honestly once he learns his map, he avoids such obstacles and has even figured out how to get over the hump from the threshold in the bathroom. Basically lifts up and scales it like he's climbing Mt. Everest, which to him, may seem like it. 11. I like the fact that he empties himself and any hair caught on the brush is quickly razored away when he goes home. Yes it's a bit noisy but it's only for a minute and I'll take that over needing to manually pull hair out like I have to in my regular vacuum. Not getting my hands all gross is a huge plus. And it really doesn't seem like there is anything tangled in it anyway. I have long hair but I'm pretty adamant about getting it thrown away even though I know there's some strands about. 12. Spazz's functionality is top - notch. Nothing has gone wrong, other than the few things with the app connection and the wayward sock incident, as it is now known as. 13. The dogs do not seem to be bothered by him at all, just curious as to what this new thing is in their space and my male quickly dis-trusted Spazz to NOT suck up his favourite bone so he snaggled it up and went to another room. My female watched Spazz very intently, just in case he may actually have legs and feet and scurry away. Thankfully she did not try to bite him like she does with my regular vacuum! 14. I have a robot trash can (motion sensour) in my kitchen and Spazz knocked into it while mapping and I told him 'that is another robot. There better not be any interaction between the two of you and don't even think about communicating.' Only time will tell what transpires between them. If we don't turn up for awhile, do a wellness check. If there's a putrid odour, but the floors are clean and the garbage has been taken out, just know humanity has lost. For everyone complaining it is not immediately perfect right out the box: there IS a manual on line. Read it. Study it. Learn it. Embrace it. If you cannot find the time to actually READ something, watch a video since most people believe that because you watched a 3 minute video, you're automatically brilliant and know everything about it. It will never be perfect in any way, shape or form. Remember, computers are only as smart as the person using them. Take some time to get to know your machine and HAVE PATIENCE!!

Roller brush errors on 2 units (Fixed with firmware update)
UPDATE: Upgrading to 4 stars. I'm happy to report that Eufy saw my review and offered to return and refund or push the firmware update. I chose the update and have run the unit 3 times since updating with ZERO roller brush errors! Hooray! They even responded to my questioning their not automatically pushing the firmware update when units are registered in the app (they say roller brush error isn't universal & they don't know if updating everything would mess up unaffected units...ok, I can accept that). Anyway, if you purchase the L60 and have repeated roller brush errors, the update seems to help. The update also appears to have improved the BoostIQ, and now it does a better job of adjusting suction when moving from carpet to hard floors. I've found the unit needs to return to base to recharge more frequently, but that's not bothersome to me, as it does it on its own and completes the cleaning. For the price, this is a pretty good little robot vacuum. Now that I'm keeping her, I guess I'll have to name her. After a month, I'm on the fence regarding this vacuum. It was a toss-up between 2 and 3 stars; I went with 3 because I don't hate it. This is my second try at the L60. I returned the first one after a couple of days because it would give a roller brush error about every 4 minutes when there was absolutely nothing stuck in the brush. I tried Eufy customer support with mixed success (they'd diligently respond once daily, a different person each time, in the middle of the night) and eventually decided the easiest thing to do was to just exchange for a different unit through Amazon. I would strongly recommend anyone purchasing this vacuum make sure the seller they use allows returns through Amazon--some do not. All in all, it does a reasonably good job, isn't overly noisy, the app is pretty intuitive, and it is at the lower end of the price range for a self-emptying robot. The current unit also gives me roller brush errors, but just once every vacuuming session, again, with nothing in the roller. This seems to be a recurring issue with this vacuum. From reading some forums, it appears some have had success contacting Eufy customer service and getting newer firmware downloaded to the unit. I haven't tried that yet. I generally just check the app, and if (when) I see it has stopped, I just restart it from the app and it has (so far) finished the vacuuming session without further issue. The roller brush error is definitely annoying, but the month slipped away, and I'm outside the Amazon return window, so I'll deal with it. I saved the box, so if I have to send it back to Eufy, at least I'll have appropriate packaging.

Finally! A great robot vacuum for me
I’ve owned a Roomba i3 and an Eufy 11s for the past 6 years or so. Recently both died and I need a replacement. I mop my own floors so I just needed a vacuum. We have 3 shedding dogs. Also we live in the country, so even though we remove our shoes we get a good amount of sand and dust on the floors and carpets I adored my Eufy 11S. It was a workhorse. I second guessed buying another Eufy after reading reviews. As a result I’ve gone through 4 different robot vacuums in the last 6 weeks. All higher rated than the Eufy L60 SES. I returned each of them One had little suction and left fur balls all o er my carpet. Plus connecting to the internet was a nightmare. And this is a well known (rock) robot The other 3 had a host of issues all relating to suction/ hair pickup. The lack of it Finally I bought this Eufy L60 and I am extremely happy with it. It connected easily to my internet. (others didn’t) It is also a workhorse like my 11S was. Grabs that pet hair and sand / dust and does it quietly and quickly. It mapped quickly and easily. The others didn’t. The Eufy app works perfectly and easily. Again. The others did not. Maps disappeared, would select rooms to vacuum and they didn’t get vacuumed, their navigation annoyed the heck out of me Finally. I can relax. Select zones or rooms to clean and they are cleaned and cleaned well. I already know Eufy customer support is outstanding. So. I am a returned customer. I should have bought Eufy in the first place.

I love eufy products. I replaced this one with another eufy vac 14 month lifespan.
I purchased this eufy L60 in October 2024, and am writing this review 14 months later in December 2025. **The Good: -The app is pretty easy. -Mapping is easy. -Editing rooms for no go areas is pretty easy and convenient (was able to avoid Christmas tree skirt, and other little areas that would have caused problems). -Gets under about 50% of most furniture. -Picks up a whole lotta stuff that I would have normally missed with a regular vacuum. -I'm lazy, its not. **The Bad: -It leaves little bits in the grout lines on tile floors. -Does anyone have long hair...its going to find every hair and turn the brush into a hair spinner, you'll have to clean it out once a week with a razor. -There is a little bearing on the free spin side of the brush that gets clogged up and you'll start getting "roller brush stuck" errors, Get in that little split with a razor and clean it out well, then spray some aerosol silicone in there to keep it lubed up and clean. -It will start having functionality problems 12 to 14 months after purchasing. Mine decided that it wanted to have a weakened reverse to get up the docking station so I've been finding it sitting there in front of the station not charging...just expect to buy a new one every year...or get the extended warrantee from AMAZON for replacement. **STARS RATING: 2. It vacuums well, is convenient, but roller brush stuck error required me to handle the engineering deficiency, roller brush cleaner does not remove hair, spinning brush gets clogged up with hair, and the reverse motor weakened to the point that it won't dock itself after 13 months.

Good Cleaning Power, but Obstacle Handling Needs Improvement
This robot does work and generally does what it’s supposed to do. I’m giving it 3 stars mainly because of how it handles obstacles. When it encounters objects, it tends to push through or climb over them rather than stopping, avoiding, or rerouting. I understand it’s not a Roomba, but I did expect some level of obstacle avoidance, or at least something similar. Because of this, I only run it when I’m home and awake. Otherwise, I’ll come back to things being dragged around or knocked over unless everything is completely picked up beforehand, which can be frustrating. On the positive side, it does a great job picking up dirt and especially hair. I really appreciate the hair-cutting feature—it saves me from having to deal with that manually. The mapping is decent, though I’d say it’s about 80% accurate and doesn’t always follow the map exactly. Overall, it has some useful strengths, but the obstacle handling and navigation are areas that could use improvement.

Don’t understand the hype, this thing is really bad
2 months in and unfortunately passed the return window. I had a roomba prior so I’m comparing the issues I had with that vs this piece of junk which for some reason got great reviews. First off this thing gets lost so easily. I don’t know how many times it’s tried to go back to charge and I found it dead in the opposite corner of the room because it couldn’t find home. My house has a decent number of mirrors and I think that confuses this thing, you could tell by how it maps out spaces (checking the house map on the app). It’s so clueless that’s it’s mapping out reflections as part of the room. Never was a problem with the Roomba. So basically it’s consistently at low battery because half the time it’s getting lost in a room it’s cleaned 50 times before and dying. Mind you there is no clutter, the charge port is in a room with 2 desks and 2 chairs. Not to mention when it goes back to charge mid job because it’s always low battery, it completely forgets it was cleaning a room and gives up on a job. Useless. Second off this thing gets caught on everything. Better hope you live like a caveman and don’t have any chargers because it loves sucking in and destroying your wires. This was never a problem with my roomba. It’s because of how this is designed with its brush/spool. Not only that but if I have a cat toy on the ground (those who have pets know that toys are just going to end up in random places, this thing will suck in those toys and get stuck). Pretty ridiculous that a toy will get this thing caught, I shouldn’t have to do a 20 minute patrol to find little toys around the house for a vacuum that gets put to work three times a week. Again, this was never a problem with the roomba. It’s how this thing is designed. Next issue, the thread/hair cutting feature doesn’t even work. The spool just pushes it all into a corner so this feature pointless. Another issues is the lack of certain convenient features (keeping in mind these features exist with other similarly priced products). This vacuum + app can name rooms and clean areas, but I can’t ask Alexa to clean those spaces. I can only ask this thing via Alexa for it to clean the entire house. If you want a specific room you open the app to do so. Minor inconvenience sure, but it’s the same price as a roomba that can do those things. Last but not least and probably the most important part, the cleaning sucks. I had a fake Christmas tree that lost some of its pine needles when I was putting it away. Instead of just sweeping it I figured I’d use this opportunity to do a final test of how good the vacuum actually works. I’m not lying when I say I had to assign a clean zone over those fake pine needles three times before it finally picked them all up. It can’t do the added perks it advertises well at all so you’d think the least it can do is vacuum correctly. Wrong. I hoped it would get smarter over time like my roomba did and learn the space better but this thing is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. I’m now past the return window after getting fooled by the other reviews and giving this thing a chance, and this thing is still as clueless as it was when it came out the box. Don’t listen to the other review hype, this thing is a total lemon. People either had early generation roombas that have since gotten much better or just never actually had a robo vacuum before, because I can’t for the life of me understand how so many people left a review saying this thing was the best purchase they've ever made. Ignorance is bliss, this isn’t great in any sense of the word. Don’t end up stuck with this thing like me where I now tell myself I’ll put up with this junk for an another year before I get a replacement. Look elsewhere.
