Good product for DC offgrid use.
Works well and is energy efficient. The only drawback is that you have to monitor humidity yourself. It reports but does not regulate. I like it anyway. I’ve hatched chicks and turkey poults successfully.

Controls and roller don't function properly
I have had this 42 days. At first I liked it easy set up and work nice. Put 15 peacock eggs got 4 hatched out. Then the next batch I put in the controls wouldn't let me reset the unit. The control will not go over 94 3 and hunitty won't adjust from77. Si foliar looks like my eggs are aborting from lack if temperature and humidity issues. This is bid. I have over 30 eggs un hatched due ti the malfunction of the unit. Now the company shows and won't take responsibility. I WOULD understand if I had this unit for a while and it quit but not only 42 days. This robbery. I had a bigger unit like this one and I had it for 2 yrs. It did great that's why I got this one. I DONT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT. AND COMPANY SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT WORKMANSHIP OF PRODUCT. I understand amazon 30 day. But it's not fare to spend money for products that do t work. Money is tight these days and I can't afford to just throw it away in the trash.

Love it
This hatches out goose eggs really well. Just make sure its level or it will leack out water everywhere. It has hatched out 4 batches of duck eggs and i was only putting 16 eggs in at a time

A Learning Curve to Get Used to.
As many have pointed out the humidity is an issue. It's a gague to measure the humidity, not actual humidity control— it WILL NOT alarm if the humidity drops to a specific temperature either. I also have an issue of thr eggs being walked up the rollers while turning and having to scoot them back down every other day or so— make sure the bottom of the eggs are facing the gears. I cut a window in the Styrofoam casing— not the full wall, just half of one— so I can see inside and it manages to maintain the temperature just fine like this. It can be a little tricky to get the learning curve, especially with humidity since I do live in a climate that is EXTREMELY humid— my incubator usually runs in 65 to 70 humid range naturally, one of the eggs being fertile and seeming to incubate thus far. Whether I can get It to the hatching stage will entirely be on me rather than the incubator itself. It's stood up to several power outages and functions off the 12V car battery we bought in order to connect it and keep it working which I can appreciate.

Rollers just slide under the eggs
While I like that this has a temperature alarm, and that I can keep track of the humidity on a separate LED from the temperature, the rollers that are supposed to turn the eggs regularly merely slide under the eggs without turning them. The rollers turn; the eggs don't. I tried sanding the rollers thinking they were too smooth, and hoping that a rough surface would actually grab the eggs and turn them, to no avail. I even got my other [smaller] incubator out and put some of the eggs in it in case the size of the eggs actually reduced the capacity, and even with the eggs not touching each other, the rollers just slide. I still have to turn the eggs by hand. After this clutch is hatched, I will smear a thin layer of silicone on them and let it set up for a few days before incubating another clutch of eggs, but this is supposed to be largely a "plug-n-play" incubator that automatically turns the eggs. I'm having to do the aforementioned modifications in an attempt to get it to work the way it's supposed to. I'm not impressed! Edit: I set this incubator up to hatch another clutch. It held temperature overnight, so I put the fertilized eggs in this morning. It hadn't quite reached incubation temperature when I had to leave for work, but it was getting close. When I got home from work, it was beeping a low temperature alarm. It was 3° too low. I'm starting to think this incubator is a "single use" appliance, and I'm really not impressed. The little incubator that I paid a little more than half as much for has served very well for three uses, and is incubating a fourth clutch. I'm dismayed that this one was almost twice as much money and seems to be a single use piece of junk. This is not acceptable! 😠

Very happy
I recommend this incubator to my friends when they talk about hatching out eggs. Temperature control is set for some eggs, which is great. Humidity level for those are no problem. Its really easy to use and good price.

Removing the styrofoam is not easy.
I did not enjoy using this incubator. I purchased it because you could see inside from the picture that was posted. However, it was boxed in styrofoam when shipped and was recommended to keep the styrofoam on the bottom. Which means there is no way to see inside. To remove the stupid stryofoam, you have to take part of it off and then reattach. Much more work than what I wanted. Plus, once you remove it, where the heck do you store it until you need to put it back on?? Also, several eggs came off the rollers, and you have to use a water bottle for humidity. The water leaked all over the place and then just ran and collected into a lake inside the incubator. Of course, I couldn't see when my eggs hatched so I didn't know the chicks would never dry due to the amount of water that had run into the stupid thing. Everytime you open the thing to check on the chicks, the thing would start beeping at you like you just murdered someone and wouldn't quit screaming.

Easy to use, reliable and works great.
I love that this has the humidity reading and it was easy to keep the humidity in the right range by opening the small vent on top or putting a kink in the hose so too much water doesn’t flow in the incubator. The rollers allow for placement for the size of eggs and fit all of the eggs I had. I’ve tried two other incubators and this is one is worth it. No guesswork involved.
