Since firewood will be stored outside, the fact that it's Powder coated steel is a big factor for durability and strength. This is the main reason I purchased this product over other competitor's made of plastic, which I doubt will last. The slots are the proper size to easily accommodate the USA standard 2 X 4 lumber. However, being in the construction industry, I chose Pressure Treated lumber for its durability to weather. Because this type of lumber is prone to swell due to the treatment process, some "fitting" may be needed, so have a block plane handy.. One suggestion I can make in the assembly process is to add a piece of 2X4 to the top, outside edge of the two end uprights, thus tying both uprights together. This will provide an extra amount of stability.

This made a nice firewood rack using scrap 2 x 4s. The brackets fit standard dimensional 2 x 4 lumber, i.e. the holes are not oversized for wet, pressure treated lumber like many of the bracket kits out there.

You will need a power impact hammer drill and impact bits to put this together. If you are using 2×4s. I put this together on top of a table. Decide how long you want each piece, length. Width and upright. I got my pieces cut at ACE Hardware and was easy to assemble. I had to drill starter holes about 1 and quarter inch deep. Otherwise is difficult to get those wood screws in. But you will need help when doing the uprights. Someone to help hold in place. If all is ready doesn't take long to put together.

I have 2 racks setup and partially filled. This saved me on a overthought, elaborate project that never did settle out as a go for it idea. While it took me much longer to cut and assemble than the few minutes in the instructions, it still went pretty quick. I sat mine on concrete pavers to keep them from sinking into the ground. You may want to consider that. A full load and wet ground adds up. You may want to consider what length you cut your wood before you set the width. 16" is considered a standard around my area but your use may be different.

4個セットのはずが1個だけ違う物(2枚目の写真、穴が開いていない)が入っていたため使い物になりません。せっかくホームセンターで2×4の木材をカットして買ってきたのに全てがパァになってしまいました。交換をお願いしたのに、返品後返金となっていたので、モノは良さそうだったのと木材の廃棄がもったいので改めて買い直そうか悩んでいます。

Works fine, has two screw holes per anchor point for added strength. Standard 2 x 4 fits nice in openings. Would by again!
