Another thing I liked is that the bottle can be sterilized. Many parents worry about bacteria forming on feeding bottles, but this product can be safely boiled and sterilized at the recommended temperatures, which gives peace of mind. Later, I had another question. What if my baby eventually needs a faster milk flow? Would I need to buy a completely new bottle? After checking further, I found that Philips sells nipples separately with different flow rates. So when the baby grows, I can simply purchase a nipple with a higher flow and continue using the same bottle. That makes the product very flexible and cost-effective because the same bottle can easily be used for several months. One important thing I want to mention is that breast milk is still the most important and healthiest option for a baby. The reason I am sharing all this information is because I have heard many stories where hospitals introduce feeding bottles with nipples that release milk very easily, even without proper latching. The plastic quality is good. Inspite of using hot water, the plastic does not seem to heat very easily. Also, the bottle does not scratch easily, retaining transparency as expected. Not very heavy for a 8 month baby. The baby can grip it well. Easy to use and clean aswell.
