Good solid buckles. I use them for making my own web strap belts, I don't want metal buckles and these work well for what I want. I can buy web with designs I like, not just the military colors on many pre-made web belts. They do NOT hold well on particularly thin strap materiel, you need to use a thicker web strap or double it over for the teeth to hold well. If you do that they hold extremely well. Comfortable and easy to use.

Love these webbing buckles. I have middle-age hang and was getting dug and pinched. I started about 10 years or so, using these type of belts. But I don't use like belts. I was using shorter lengths and placing them thru belt loops, one or two little belts. They belt loops couldn't always take the strain of constant use, tightening, re-tightening as pants loosened after time. So I started using an awl and buttons or even cable ties to fasten them to my pants similar to the way jeans once featured a back cinch. I do most of my pants like this now. And I can adjust and keep my pants longer without replacing. Screw buttons can fasten them also to look more jean-like. I have used webbing (1.5 w) and also tent repair canvas (folded to width) as "belt" sections.

I had two "friction" style belts that the clasp failed on so I was looking for a replacement because the straps still had plenty of life left and these fit the bill perfectly! The only downside is they are made of plastic... there are four in a pack though so I should be set for a long time! Good job!

I use these things constantly, have yet to fail on me. BUT, one did show up broken so I say don't go beyond using them to keep your pants up

These just arrived and I opened the package. I'm already not impressed. The plastic bag they were in has holes in it and the cardboard insert is ripped. Upon actually opening the plastic bag 2 of the buckles are missing. I have part of one of the missing buckles. Of the two buckles I received only one is usable the other is broken. Extremely disappointed.

Still on my first buckle and it continues to work well. What I like most of all is you don't have to remove it going through airport security.

These buckles seem fine except they’re not attached to a belt and the size belt that fits them correctly that they’re actually built for doesn’t work. It seems decent quality but I can’t get the belt to stay where it belongs like it does for the same buckle in metal. Better to buy one that’s already attached to a belt at one side. I can use the same canvas military style belts with a metal buckle, cut it to size, attach it on one side and voile, ready to go. I wanted to try plastic to reduce the weight of a metal buckle but can’t get it to stay put. Maybe someone else can do it but after looking at tons of videos I’m done. I’ll be returning them or throwing them in the recycle bin.
