I bought this pleated skirt size 13-14 for my 10 year old daughter who usually wear size 12 for a performance at school.The size is just right and it looks so cute! It is good that the skirt has inner shorts. Matching tie is also cute!My daughter chose a skirt in this color and she looks like a Japanese high school student!I put it in a laundry net and wash it in cold water and hang it to dry. Even after washing, the pleats on the skirt remain beautiful without ironing.

It runs a little big, not much where I hemmed it in a little.

We tried the adult size kilts for my daughter that is an adult petite size 0. The adult smalls were way too big. We decided to go with school girls sizes. I ordered one of the 10-12 yr old and one 13-14 yr old. The 13-14 is way too big. We're keeping the 10-12 one. St Patrick's Day attire.

My daughter loves this skirt because is very comfortable to wear, and the skirt fabric is of very good quality.
