Post Buddy Post Buddy Pack of 2 Lumber Fence Post Repair Stakes (to Fix 1 Broken Post)

I had a 4”x4” fence post that my neighbor hit with their car. The post is completely broken at the base. His Elmer’s glue did not do the trick. Thanks neighbor. I installed a set of these (2) and the fence post is now sturdy like it should be. These work exactly as described and are super easy to install. Has held up to some pretty strong wind gusts.

When I bought these I was a bit skeptical as to whether they would work or not. Having used them on a really shaky, loose fence post, I can't believe how well they work and how easy they were to install. Fence post is now rock solid. Saved me a lot of work and money using these. Highly recommend

Hubby used these to secure a fence post that had broken below ground level. He dug down and added fresh concrete first as somehow there wasn’t any, at least in the first 18”, then when it dried he installed the Post Buddy repair kit. Nice solid post now, no more wobbling! Would recommend. He said it was easy to do.

I tried this on one post, but the post was rotted below ground level, so the Post Buddy didn't have anything solid to grab onto. Moved to a second post that was broken, but the wood below ground was still good, and it worked like a charm. Post feels very sturdy now. I also wanted to mention the seller's service. Somewhere in shipping, the bag ripped and the Post Buddy fell out, so the courier helpfully jammed an empty shipping bag into my mailbox. I notified the seller, and they immediately sent me a new set for no charge. I like dealing with companies like this.

This is a pretty great product. They aren’t thin or weak as you might think, 1/4” thick metal flat bar that is coated in weather proof material. They have predrilled holes in them & work pretty good. I would suggest that you make sure you don’t have posts that are set in concrete because you won’t be able to get them into the ground as deep as they need to go. I had to modify one of them because of this, but I was a metal fabricator for a long time. So if you have concrete set posts? I would suggest buying ones that would be suitable for your needs. Besides that? I would recommend these to anyone who needs to fix a falling post. As a matter of fact, I already recommended them to a neighbor who has a few leaning posts. Hope this helps.
