Well I used to be known as the plant killer........My husband said I could kill a silk plant but no more since I use the globes. Plants will "drink" when they need it and it is just amazing how they work. I have not killed a plant since I started using these! They are not only beautiful BUT they actually work!!!!!! So stop killing your plants and give them some control of when they need a drink! LOL

These do what they are designed to do when they are not blocked up with soil, which is all the time. The soil gets jammed into the opening and blocks it, hence, water cannot flow into the plant. Maybe they need to put some type of mesh screen at the opening which will allow water to come out and prevent dirt from going in.

They work great, soil does sometimes get stuck, but if you switch your faucet to the shower type setting, the small jet like stream breaks it up easy, then just switch it back to normal flow, fill and shove back into the pot.

These are great watering bulbs. Must make sure you fully water plants before placing the bulbs. No longer come home from a weekend of camping to dead flowers.

If your looking for an accent piece for your potted plant they are great. If you're looking for something to water your plants look elsewhere. Tried for several months, they don't work.

So disappointed that the bulb I use came broken. Love these bulbs but unless it's replaced I will never order again.
