It works beautifully. It looks like it could not hold up to the task it is meant to do.IT DOES.In my personal case, my ankles are weak, and the AFO supported my ankle that was turning inward by keeping it straight ahead. This assisted me in not falling and walking more safely and with more confidence.The AFO was recommended to me by my physical therapist and told to purchase it onAmazon as it was available.Should you purchase this item, I would stress that you get a doctor/PT recommendation, and then see if your insurance would purchase or assist with purchase.I did not do this, but I should have at least asked my insurance about coverage.The price is NOT prohibiting, but why not ask?I have had the AFO for 3 weeks now, and I never go out without it.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had a foot drop for about 6 months now and have used a variety of foot braces but this one definitely tops them all based on the price and functionality. It’s so quick and easy to put on and I feel very stable when walking around. I was surprised to find out just how comfortable it was even after walking or working for hours. You get a good amount of mobility after adjusting it to your fitting. When the velcro starts to give, I will buy this AFO again or try replacing the velcro.

I keep hoping that I will find a light brace that will help with my drop foot and neuropathy. I only had to take one look and know that this brace was not going to help. Why?1. The very, very narrow plate for the bottom of the foot will cut into the sides of wide and/or swollen feet.2. The brace arrived with no instructions except for the lines on the bottom of the toe for cutting.3. Cutting will not be easy without heavy scissors or clippers and, after cutting the edges will have to be sanded to avoid cuts when worn.4. The bottom plate is smooth, hard plastic. It slides in socks, on carpet...it slides.5. The bottom strap is a loose velcro strip with a small round velcro sticky glue tab for attaching to the brace. It really doesn't do much to brace the leg and foot. It is just kind of there.Oddly, the top part brace that fits the calf is well padded and comfortable. The velcro is extra-long and it is easy to attach.I have tried a lot of braces and wraps and I could immediately see that the foot plate would be the cause of multiple problems I didn't even attempt to cut or wear it. I didn't want to end up on the floor because of the slick plate going out from under me.If this brace works for you, great. But it is not for me. Returned..

This is the best brace I have found at an affordable price! It fully supports my drop foot and makes walking easy again. The straps and brace itself seem very durable, built to last. I would give this brace 5 stars but I had to settle for 4 because it is a little difficult to slip in and out of my shoes, and I have big shoes. I didn’t even need to cut down the base part, my insoles are actually bigger than it (size 13M). While it makes walking easy, whenever I begin to step with my brace foot (left) the back of the brace digs into my heel/Achilles. I can’t quite figure out how to get it to stop because sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t know if it’s because of certain shoes or the way I strap it to my shin but it can be very painful. I’m buying a pad to stick to it to hopefully ease the pressure.

Wonderful brace. Impressed with how well I am able to walk again. I am glad I read the photos and got a men’s size even though I am a woman. Just a reminder to deff measure and do not go by gender sizes but I am impressed with how well this has helped me get through my work day. I may even order one for the other foot. Thank you

Works well for awhile. Wears out after a few months

Best brace I’ve used! I have bought other ones and returned them. I’ve even used a specialty top notch brace from the orthopedic, but this one tops them all! Very comfortable, durable, and lightweight. Fits perfectly into my shoe and I’m able to be on my feet all day without any problems. Will buy again!

I have a narrow heel and this boot is extremely narrow on the heel making it very uncomfortable. Buckle strap unbuckles very easily. Not worth the money. Was a good support despite killing my heel and ankle because too tight.
