Burleska Womens Ophelie Steampunk Corset Dress

I am 5”7 usually size medium, but whit this dress I order a large size, since it comes from Asia, I knew I have to order a bigger size. After carefully reading the reviews, I realize one size up was enough and I was right. I receive a lot of compliments in my wedding.

My daughter wore this to prom and it was perfect! Need two people to get corset done up right but a great fit.

For the price it's decent. I'm gonna wear this for my steam punk wedding I got 3X I wanted 2X but they have been out. I'm just under 200lbs and 5'3 the 3X is a little loose. Overall I think it's pretty but hard to get off if not impossible without help it's stiff. Seems well made and I rather fancy it.UPDATE I've lost 17 more lbs and the 3 x is massive I cinch it all the way and it's still loose I wish I went smaller then recommended because then you can adjust it. If it too big there is a limit to how much you can cinch it and nothing you can do to tighten it. Size down.

I'm 5'9" 215, 41" waist. When I came here to purchase the dress, knowing how corsets fit, I figured a 5X would fit perfectly based on how it would lace up the back. However, the 5X was out of stock and so close to Halloween I didn't want to take a chance on whether I'd be able to make the 4X work, so I went larger. While the dress is gorgeous and made well, the larger size caused the dress to be ill-fitting around the arm holes and bust, and it would never lace up as tightly as I would want because the lacing holes were already butted up together due to the bigger waist measurement. I will emphasize that NONE of this is the seller or manufacturer's fault; in retrospect even the 4X would probably have worked just fine with the width of the back panel beneath the laces being so generous. I am taking off a star because some of the lace trim began to unravel before I'd even left the house, and halfway through the night I had a couple of strings hanging down here or there as a consequence (NBD but annoying on a new dress). Plus, the laces are super duper long (much longer than any corset I've ever worn) and very difficult to tie up properly so they won't get in the way without looking messy.

I am 5’1 & 38 DD 135lbs the dress fits perfect! I got a large. You might want to wear a body slimmer & a strapless push up bra cuz gravity works at 53 lol I’m wearing it for my western wedding. We’re getting married on horseback and a short cut it in the front works perfectly.

I am a size 6 American. I had to purchase a size XL. This is made in Napal. Don't be put off at having to order a size way larger than you would if the dress was made in Europe or the U.S.. It is really beautiful. You will get compliments and have fun interacting with people . It is made of beautiful Venetian Lace, and it is a true corset. What is so different is that it juts out at the sides almost like a Marie Antoinette look. It doesn't have a bussle, so it is the side padding that's really different. It is an extreme look. It does have beautiful lace that builds up. It goes above the knee in front and very long in back. I tried the dress in an X size. It fit but then I had to tie the corset tight. I enjoy comfort so the XL size meant that there was no corset tightening. It is hard to describe. The smaller size requires engaging the full on corset, the larger size is just gives the corset look without making you hold your stomach in.

I saw the girl who wrote the comment about this dress having cheap material. It has costume in the name of the seller! Btw this is a great dress for the amount of money you're paying for. If this dress had really amazing material then it would be really really expensive! I wish we wore clothes like this in the age we are in. I love vintage clothing!! Back to the dress, it's so sexy looking if it's fittings! Fits like a glove on me! I'm 34C, 120lb, 5,3 and I choose a A medium I believe. Hard to tighten the corset in the back on your own but what corset isnt hard to do on your own.What I don't like is the rope in the back but other wise super great, super sexy!I'm going to wear his to the Hello dolly in NY . Can't wait!!! Ill post a picture soon of the dress. Will buy other colors soon!!!

Dress is well made and holds up nicely. Was able to work in it all day no problems.
