We spent about $10-$15 on clips, bolts, hardware. It will all depend on where you attached it too. It is water resistant and provides great shade!

I mounted it with 1/4" coated braided steel cable, turn buckles. 12' 4x6 rough sawn cedar, buried 24" with cement. Winds were well over 30mph.Note one of my cedar posts was pulled in about an inch off of plum.This is new and we have lots of sun and wind in Texas, we will see how it holds up.If installed correctly, I highly recommend.

Installed this on Friday 05/31/21 and seems to be a good tight fit. I definitely recommend purchasing the Artpuch Sun Shade Sail Hardware Kit ( I used the 6" length ). Was a seam on one end thats not pictured upon purchase, but i installed this to the sloped side. Does a great job shading the pool for the kids.

I have been searching for the perfect shade sail for at least two years now. When we came across this one, we figured, "why not"? The quality of this shade is outstanding. It is definitely not water proof but we weren't looking for that anyway - our yard is full sun all day long in the summer so we just needed to create some shaded areas against our home. I love the color - very natural sand color among all of the greenery we have.It was super easy to install - we didn't do the final installation yet, as we tried only with thin ropes to lay out the piece. The D rings are super secured to the ends of the piece. Once we have the metal hardware, I'm positive it's going to be perfect. Definitely worth the price for the quality. Ours is 16 x 16 x 16 and it covers a large area of our yard. We have some lounging furniture going underneath ours and it does the trick. The fabric is breathable and will definitely be flexible during the windy evenings. Highly recommend it. You can't lose.

The material is strong, yet light and breathable, and although it is too soon to know whether or not it will stand the test of time, this sun shade does seem sturdy and solid. The color is rather neutral (same as seen in the pictures) and blends well with nature. I was surprised at just how large it is- measure to make sure it will fit your needs! It's perfect for our backyard and fully covers our outdoor patio table. Instructions are clear and set-up is easy; that said, be aware that you will need to purchase hooks/tension rods (depending on your needs) separately. Overall, great purchase!

Struggled a little bit with the angle and getting it tight. Finally used ratchet straps and that worked best, allowing to tighten after the wind loosens it. You will need to order brackets to attach to what ever structure you are hanging it from. We also cemented a pole on the opposite side to secure the lower angle. I chose to get 2 and over lap. I finally got the look I wanted and the shade. If your doing it yourself, it will take a bit to get it done. But the final product is worth it for the price.

Very poor quality. This was supposed to be a 16' triangle. As you can see from the photo, one corner has been pieced and sewn on poorly like it was made with a scrap fabric.This item is pictured in the description as one whole fabric length, assumably giving it more durability in the elements. I doubt this seam will hold up for long. If I didn't need to shade a fish pond right away, I would have returned it.

I installed this while remodeling my backyard or (had a contractor install it). It is a solid product that has withstood several storms. It is not water resistant but it is not designed for water resistance as it has a porous fabric that allows light to go through. This is a good product and I ordered a second one to get more sun coverage and protection.

Nice lightweight and easy to install. Even when pulled tight it does still pouch in spots when it rains. Set up on a steep angle to avoid pooling
