Love the Alexa speaker!
We’re really enjoying this baby monitor. It has really cool features that have made our lives easier. My favorite part is the Alexa speaker. I can’t always reach for my phone when I’m holding baby or breastfeeding, thus it’s so much help to just be able to tell Alexa to set timers, play lullabies, and white noise. One of the features I like about the monitor is being able to set up motion sensor recording. Although I have an older phone, the picture quality is great to me. My only complaint is that sometimes Alexa can’t hear me say her name, but my husband has no problem getting her attention. Maybe it’s the pitch of my voice?

Complete crap shoot
UPDATE: we bought two of these, and now both speakers suddenly stopped connecting to wifi altogether. They can only be used with Bluetooth. Completely useless. This is a terrible baby monitor, since, for something you would most depend on being reliable, it doesnt always works. If you manage to actually get the camera to connect in the terrible monitor app for your phone, the app doesnt always connect to the camera. If you actually get it to connect, then you may possibly get this ridiculous stop motion rendition of what's happening. We purchased this at first, because it was supposed to connect to Alexa. After a few months of having the monitor, they finally released a Beta Alexa skill for the Show that displays from the camera for 10 mins at a time up to an hour a day.We put SD cards is the cameras, and only one of the three take random video and photos throughout the day.The Alexa speaker is pretty decent, even for being a mostly analog Project Nursery version of the Amazon product. It requires a completely separate app to connect, though, which is obnoxious.I hoped to have access to our cameras to periodically check in on our in-home help the first week starting after training, but it's done nothing but set my anxiety off every time it doesn't connect. The system had 4 stars when we first looked into systems at the beginning of the 2019 year, so we chose to invest, but now I'm super disappointed in our choice.

The BEST video quality...we are loving it!
We couldn't wait to set this up as soon as it arrived! It was such a quick and easy set up and we were all asking Alexa questions and having her play lullabies in no time. My oldest loves that he can be a big helper and ask Alexa to play the white noise for his sister at nap time (without us having to go in there and risk her seeing us)! After trying many monitors over the years with two kids, this is by far the BEST video quality. And for the forgetful mommy brain, one of my favorite features is having the capability to ask Alexa to remind me to order diapers or wipes mid diaper changes in the baby's nursery. Being able to view my little ones while I am out or traveling right on my phone is an added bonus...we are loving it so far!

Not recommended, Out of Date Hardware and APP software is does not work on current Android phones.
The speaker is out of date and APP does not work. So unable to install. Speaker is an early amazon echo speaker. APPEARS the company no longer stands behind this product as the APP and technology is outdated to today's expectations. Can with a speaker from 2016-2017 generation. No apparent investment to keep updated, APP does not work on my android that is a early-2022 model. Will be returning product.IF SUPPORTED AND UPDATED TO NEW TECHNOLOGY. I THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT PRODUCT WITH ALOT OF POTENTIAL. WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE ADVERTISED FEATURES.

This baby monitor is so awesome! Before getting this monitor
This baby monitor is so awesome! Before getting this monitor, I had another baby monitor that did the basic functions and we also had a sound machine. Now the Alexa Speaker and Smart Baby Monitoring System replaces them both! I love that I can ask Alexa to put on a lullaby or white noise when we are putting our son down for bedtime. Another cool feature that I love is the motion detection. My previous monitor didn’t have this so I am loving getting alerted when my little man starts to move around. It’s such a great help to have the monitor on my phone. One less thing this busy mama has to keep track of.

Doesn’t even connect
This was one of the worst purchases I ever made. I thought I was getting a steal but after my experience I realized why this unit is so cheap. It is an absolute pain connecting the camera. After trial and error I got one of their apps to finally find the camera but it didn’t show a picture. Didn’t bother even attempting the smart speaker. Most of the Project Nursery apps haven’t been updated in 2+ years so that should tell you something. Do a Google search and you’ll see why so many people hate this unit. You’re literally better off buying a cheap Echo device & Alexa enabled camera.

Nice camera, awful speaker
5 stars for the camera, 1 star for the speaker. So the poorly written product description and lack of reviews really makes it hard to understand exactly what this product combination is. Let me break it down: this is a very nice Wi-Fi enabled baby camera (sharp pictures, easy setup) plus a crappy Alexa enabled speaker attempting to be an echo. If you already own an echo then you should buy ONLY the camera. If you do not own an echo already but want one, buy an echo and then buy the Wi-Fi camera separately. First and foremost this speaker sounds horrible. The housing is very cheap compared to an echo, but worse than that you are limited to what you can ask it. For instance this speaker cannot play music through Spotify or Pandora (a head scratcher since it is supposed to be Alexa enabled), and communicating with it to the camera is extremely clunky. You have to first say to Alexa “open project nursery” and then say “move project nursery camera to the left“, a very cumbersome and wordy process that is easily forgotten. The project nursery camera app is easy enough to use that there’s really no need to use Alexa to move it or play lullabies. The camera will cost you $150. A nice new echo will cost you $80. Basically the same price as this package but with a fully functional echo instead of a crappy sounding, less capable version of the amazon speaker. Hope this helps!
