RHS Practical House Plant Book: Choose The Best, Display Creatively, Nurture and Care, 175 Plant Profiles

Great book, full of good information and photos.

I am a retired horticulturist and have never found better than RHS. My disabilities currently prevent me from doing any gardening so I have taken to house plants. A complete novice I have learnt all I need to keep what visitors to my home say are garden centre quality plants. All thanks to the help from these books which not only show you how to display them at their best and how they should be propagated but most importantly the conditions they need. From lighting to feeding, watering and misting. I even purchased the other House Plant version of this book to a friend starting out and looking to improve the quality of her plants. She is also finding it extremely useful. I would definitely recommend to the new as well as experienced plant hobbyists and professional. It is impossible however experienced you are to know everything about every plant so it is great to have his book at hand as a quick and easy reference guide!

Reaĺly useful book. Easy to read. Shows mostly common house plants. The layout encourages reading, though actual written information about specific plants is limited. Overall Its a good book to have on your shelf for on-going referencing. Great colour images. Great price

I collect houseplants and wanted a "bible" to refer to. This book ticks all the boxes and is presented beautifully. It really spurs me on to collect further plants and increase my knowledge. Lovely clear text and photos.

This book has everything including creative ideas on displays and suchlike. Everything you need to know on a wide range of house plants including some pages on succulents and cacti and no long complicated drivel like some books. Good clear concise. Perfect. This is going on my Christmas list for someone

En cuanto a contenido bien, aunque podian haber puesto mas plantas. Lo que no me gusto fue la calidad del papel y el formato reducido. Se queda un poco pobre.

Worth reading The pictures explain more Satisfied General overview for most of the plants ie, watering , lighting , feeding

Come tutti i libri della RHS e' fatto benissimo, ci sono progetti fai da-te, consigli sulla cura delle piante, e curiosita'. Organizzato benissimo, di facile consultazione, belle le fotografie. Peccato che non c'e' una versione in italiano per chi non e' fluente in inglese, tuttavia le istruzioni basiche per la cura delle piante possono essere comprese facilmente anche per chi non conosce bene la lingua (temperatura, esposizione, difficolta' di coltivazione )

I bought this for my daughter in Europe who is getting into houseplants. It has a lot of very good and reliable information, nicely presented. Would recommend this as a gift
