Hello everyone. I have an office at home of sorts. It's actually a corner in a small, damp, unused bedroom that we use for storage. Anyway, I was fed up with attaching my annual planner to the wall using Blu-Tac. I was fighting a losing battle with it because occasionally it would unpeel itself from the wall, flutter to the floor & curl up back into a tube shape. My fix for this annoying problem was to look for a notice board. And so I began my quest by trawling through all the shapes, sizes & types of notice boards available from various online retail outlets. The notice board I eventually chose was available from Amazon.This particular board ticked all my boxes including price, which I thought seemed reasonable. Once it had arrived & I had fitted the notice board to the wall, I found it to be adequate. The board comes with fittings so you need to have a basic DIY kit to make the necessary preparatory holes. I have plaster board walls so didn't need the supplied wall plugs. If you need to attach the board to a solid masonry wall, perhaps brick, then you will need an electric drill with the correct drill bit. You will find that a retractable tape measure is also invaluable for making sure either end of the board is the same height from the floor. We wouldn't want a wonky board, would we? The aluminium frame is light but quite sturdy. The board itself is quite thin but can still take map pin sized tacks or push-in pins. It can also react to temperature & bulge a little in a damp environment which I expected.All in all, I'm reasonably happy with my purchase for the price I paid & found it adequate for my home office. Arrived almost a week late and when it did arrive it was damaged; had clearly been bent making it difficult to fix to the wall. Item itself seems fair, but clearly not durable enough to withstand delivery.
