Bush Home Salinas Accent Storage Cabinet with Doors in Vintage Black

Nice little cabinet. Not too difficult to put together by myself. I ordered black and I would call the color more like a really dark charcoal gray in a matte finish. Not a dealbreaker but not as black as possible. The woodgrain looks good. The door hinges are adjustable so you can get them lined up exactly as you want. It comes with an anchor strap to keep it from tipping over but I don't need that. For the price it's great. Also it the box it came in was packed really well.

The product looks exactly as shown in the picture, except it isn't as tall as is in the picture. However, the measurements given are accurate, so it was totally my fault not paying attention to that (I'd love a bit taller). It states that it could handle 50 lb, but I'm not sure about that. I'm using it as a decorative item. so it isn't important to me. But if you're planning to use it as an actual storage, keep in mind that it is really small in every way, so not much could be stored in it. And it isn't made of wood, obviously, so please don't expect solid sturdiness. Yet, it isn't wobbly at all. Assembly was a bit challenging (maybe 6/7 hours) because I don't have much experience in assembling furniture. But I followed picture-guide exactly, with careful study of every picture (trust me, there are no extraneous details) and everything worked out well. Having a second person helps, but not a must - I managed to get it done alone and without damaging anything. You do need soft surface to work on, otherwise you will scratch veneers easily, and then it won't be pretty. I do have to say that the design and assembly protocol are ingenious, truly. I was impressed many times.Drawbacks: 1) I would check the supplied hardware before starting the assembly or even full unpacking. The box with hardware is at the top level in the package (the package was placed horizontally on the floor). Mine was missing Shelf Pin Sleeves - 8 of them. I'm not sure why there are needed, because the shelf pins work just fine without any sleeves. Maybe I'm missing something. But, if this item was missing, so could be anything else. All of the hardware is necessary, except the sleeves I mentioned. 2) The two doors are difficult to fit in properly. My left door was fine from the first go. But I spend a lot of time on the second (right door), trying to adjust the hinges. I ended up choosing a bit of misfit on the side adjacent to the hinges vs. the top of the door. Now, I had to stop the adjustment because I'm not sure how many times one could screw in and unscrew given the fact that it is a particle board. Again, I'm not planning to use it as an actual storage, so it should work well. 3) Four of the Cover Caps wouldn't stay in place. Not sure why. Tried several times. But the rest of those ( 8 caps) worked flawlessly. Now, the 4 are all on the inside, so not a big deal. I probably will get Gorilla glue to fix it. Overall, this furniture piece is very pretty, especially for the price, very slim, which is hard to find, and it fits well into the bedroom (as a decoration and a vase pedestal). So I'm happy. This was a perfect piece to replace an older table we had. We went from cherry brown dining furniture to light grey. This hutch is perfect with two closed doors to hold china, glasses, or whatever you want to store in it. It has two shelves that can be used for additional storage or decorative pieces. I wish that it came in a little longer size but the price for this was perfect ( I did get it during Prime Day) and is pretty sturdy. It does have the cardboard type back that you nail to the back (vs a true board).Pros:*Easy to put together*Very sturdy, nice weight wood*Two cabinets for storage*Two shelves for storage or decorationsCons:*Cardboard back vs wood*Would be great if it came in a larger sizeOverall this buffet table was the perfect edition to our dining room decor.

I just received and assembled this cabinet today. Looking at the assembled product, I’d say that it’s pretty much what I expected. It looks like how it’s presented in the pictures.Assembly took about an hour and a half, but I was working alone and half watching TV, so I’m sure it could be done more quickly if one were focusing. The instructions were easy to follow (basically it was just like following Lego instructions), and all of the parts were numbered and labeled. I don’t have a drill, so I did the whole thing with a screwdriver and a hammer. A drill would probably have made things easier but it’s definitely not necessary if you’re willing to use some elbow grease.It looks pretty good. Certainly not like something one would pay more than $140ish on, but pretty good. It’s about as sturdy as you’d expect from MDF; it’ll probably hold whatever you would plan on using it for, but I wouldn’t lean or sit on it.I’m happy with it. Again, it’s not a very expensive product, but for what it costs I’d say it’s pretty good value.

Excellent cabinet. I bought it for shoe storage. It’s very sturdy. The hinges are excellent. The directions are very easy to follow along with. There are also two additional hidden supports in the middle of the cabinet at the base. I put it together by myself. I marked the photo with the hinges with an arrow pointing to a weird little screw. Once you install the hinges and tighten the main screw that secures the door, you can then adjust this other screw to push the door out from the side panel so it doesn’t rub when opening and closing. I love that I was able to adjust this! I’m going to look for a shelf insert so I can add one more shelf for my shoes if I can’t get an additional one from Bush. I’m waiting for them to respond. But even if they don’t t have one, I’ll find something. I just love this cabinet. Highly recommended. One important note, this wasn’t delivered by Amazon. It came by UPS and automatically required a signature. I’m in a gated community & forgot to give them the code, so it wasn’t delivered on the first attempt. Make sure you’re home & they have access. They will leave it at the door if you allow it, but consider theft when choosing your options.

I was skeptical about engineered wood furniture and the sturdiness of it, but have been pleased with the quality. Still not as nice as solid wood but the price is decent for this piece, and looks better than the folding table I was using :)Shipping packaging is very good, even with some damage to the outside box, no damage to the product itself.Easy to assemble, just don’t over tighten the cams.I also purchased the matching desk and file cabinet. Same results- all sturdy items.

We needed a new TV stand in our bedroom, but didn't need something huge to actually hold a TV on because we decided to wall mount it. We looked everywhere - especially the local stores, and couldn't find anything we really liked for a good price. We came across this and figured it was worth a shot.It showed up in about a week and was in good shape when we got it. No pieces were damaged or missing, and everything was packaged great. The wife and I were able to put it together in about 45 - 60 minutes without killing each other, which is always a plus!As you can see in the picture - it does exactly what we needed it to do. We have the gaming consoles sitting up top to keep them from over heating and all of our blurays and games in the cabinets below.Pros:PriceEasy to buildSturdyFinish/color on it is greatPerfect size for what we neededCons:The only thing we didn't love was that each cabinet only had one shelf. If you're going to put blurays on these shelves, you can fit 2 shelves on each side to maximize your bluray space/height. We are going to get some wood and cut it down to size to add a shelf in the cabinet on each side.

Great looking and easy to assemble this was just what we were looking for. There was some damage on the top and we contacted the manufacturer who will be sending out a replacement as soon as production starts again from the holidays/COVID break.

Easy to put together, i did myself. It does take some time but feels very sturdy. Looks as expected, although the ‘finish’ is not fantastic, when peeling the id stickers for the pieces after assembly some came off. It doesnt show so much, and i guess i could have been more careful but was not expecting. Still super satisfied.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture.Very heavy! The directions were easy to follow. I managed to put it together all by myself…having another person helping would have helped a lot as it took me close to 4 hours doing it myself.

I am impatient and fast moving. And yet I was able to put this together. It took me 2.5 hours. I read carefully, followed the instructions one step at a time, and did not get overwhelmed! Looks great in my office.

Solid piece, good quality! I bought this as I needed a table for storage and displaying items. This is perfect for my spot and I absolutely love it! It’s good quality and good price. It’s narrow and that is what I needed.
