Fun intro into CircuitPython
Adafruit makes some great products and this is one of them. This Circuit Playground is exactly that; a small little introduction that has enough functionality to get you started in coding with CircuitPython but not too much to get you overwhelmed either. Using the Mu Editor as your interface, you can in very little time write code and obtain immediate sensory feedback. You can program LED brightness, color, make different color patterns, led sweeps, interact with 2 micro buttons, play with 1 micro slide switch, pull temperature data, pull brightness data, record temp and brightness data to a log, test out capacitive touch pads, generate some tones/music with flashing lights and if you are adventurous enough make a little Simon Says game that will utilize all the capability of this little board. This is a fun way to practice your own coding skills or get your kids interested in programming technology.

Awesome Intro to Coding
This is such a fun, simple and easy way to get into micro controller programming. Not only is the hardware fantastic there are so many resources available online from Adafruit and others to learn how to program it. Fun for a wide range of ages. I love it (33-year-old adult), but so does my 7-year-old son.

Great board, great starter kit.
A great product for teaching Python, and this kit contains everything you need to get started. My only complaint is that the JST-PH connector on the battery pack is not well-secured and the wires already seem to be pulling out after a few uses.

Needs a book about writing code.
It's a neat board to have to learn some basic code skills without breadboards.

Its really a playground and your imagination is the only limit. Have fun while learning to code. From simple to advanced user, you’ll always get satisfied. The package was perfect and it arrived as scheduled. It’s a pity that from Europe the price is doubled because of importing taxes.
