Update: We have owned this frame for almost 3 years now and it has yet to squeak. We are all too often active sleepers (we move around a lot when we sleep.) It has been constantly sturdy and I have yet to find a loose bolt. My only wish is I miss having a footboard to keep blankets from falling to the floor at night. Please consider selling a footboard and headboard set for this frame in the future and maybe design the footboard to use on the frame where no pre-drilled holes exist as we won't be able to add such holes and im not yet ready to buya new frame. I strongly recommend this frame for its height and strength. Due to health issues my husband and I have a combined weight of 750lbs. A standard bed frame bends and a standard box spring breaks. It's difficult to correct health issues when a person can't get a good nights sleep because the bed is crooked and uncomfortable. With this bed frame (the full size TATAGO 16 inch) we were able to discard the broken box spring and had our first fully flat sleep in quite awhile. Our home is very small and under-bed storage for linens etc is extremely valuable. The bed is sturdy enough it does not bow or bend and doesn't touch the storage containers below. While the pieces were very heavy, I could have done the entire construction alone, although the two of us made the work go more quickly. There are bolts and small tools included with it so you don't need anything. I might recommend, if you have trouble getting the slats in completely, using a thick towel and a soft rubber mallet to hammer them in, though we were able to simply push them in with little effort. If, at some point it begins to squeak, I would recommend checking the bolts and make sure they haven't come loose. It's a basic, simple, and, honestly, a standard maintenance task that should be done with any furniture that contains bolts, shaky or not. 9 sturdy legs and heavy duty metal slats support the weight well. It's been three weeks now and no squeaking. We can get out of bed without disturbing the other. Bonus? No metal springs threatening to punch through and damage the mattress. It would be nice if there were a headboard and footboard to be able to add as an option in the future. While there are holes already drilled to allow the addition of a headboard there are no holes for a footboard. We have trouble keeping our bedding from falling to the floor during the night. Another suggestion would be to able to add cushioned padding to the frame to prevent painful accidents and kicking. Overall we are loving this bed frame. It was an excellent investment and the price made it affordable for our limited income.

All around, this was worth the price. Shipping came sooner than expected. I placed my order on Christmas and delivery was estimated for January 25th, 2021. My package arrived yesterday morning (1.5.2021 via FedEx). Nothing was damaged during shipping. The box is quite heavy, so make sure to lift properly, or have a helper, if need be. The bed is made completely out of metal (not sure the type, probably galvanized, that's painted black. All of the hardware and instructions were provided. There was also an Allen Key & a Wrench provided as well. While assembling, I noticed that the overall finish was not completely square. It didn't stop me from building the bed frame though. So there are 2 parts where I was unable to screw 1/2 of the M8*20 bolts in (A & C) because the holes for the bolts were not properly aligned. I also noticed that the nuts were tough to screw on (me thinking I cross threaded them), but I discovered that they have a seal inside of them. If you have your own personal hand tools (especially a speed/ratcheting wrench, or even an impact, that'll save you some time & strength, but overall I was able to assemble the entire frame, by myself, with what was provided in about 45 minutes. The frame is very sturdy & I placed my memory foam mattress on top (8" thick). I slept comfortably compared to having my bed on the floor. There's no squeaking or movement either. There's no need for a box spring unless you prefer to lay high off the floor. Also, there's plenty of room for you to store belongings underneath. If you have wood/tile floors, I suggest placing a rug underneath to prevent scratches & wear to your floor. I'm 100% satisfied and will be purchasing either a Queen or King bed frame in the near future. Thank you!

This was simple to put together and it is extremely sturdy. I bought this for a family member who is rather heavy and a bit rough. She seems to repeatedly break her box springs. Instead of replacing the box spring and traditional bed frame, I opted for this. I am so very happy and so glad I found this. The strength and structure is a 10 out if 10. Assembly was simple and took about 15or 20 minutes. I love that it sits a bit high, so it truly eliminates the need for a box spring without the bed being too low and, also, provides underbed storage, which has been tremendously helpful in organizing her bedroom. I ordered some underbelly storage containers and they fit beautifully. I just need a bed skirt to complete the look. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a strong, sturdy bed that will hold up to heavy use.

So I purchased this for my son. He broke his previous bed frame and box spring by swan diving onto the bed. The frame arrived very quickly, actually before the anticipated arrival date. The frame was well packed, and there were no scratches or damage. I am a very independent woman, and this was extremely easy to assemble. The only issue I had was the bolts and nuts were not labeled according to the directions. Figuring out which bolts to use where took the most time. (For example: The directions stated to use the “l” bolt, however none of the bolts were labeled “l.” Needless to say, there wasn’t anything much hardware so I was able to figure it out. The frame comes with all the essential hardware and tools to assemble. So far the frame has held up well. I always keep the tools, the wrench and hex key, in a zip lock bag in the top dresser draw just in case something needs tightening in the future. I am very happy with my purchase!

We weren't ready to do a full conversion on our Ford 250 Transit and contemplated building at least a frame for a full size bed. We want to travel and be able to sleep but no plans to live full time.... We found this particular 16" tall VERY sturdy but light, bed frame which fits exactly into the width of our van. It has a slight lip on the frame to keep the mattress from sliding and the space underneath fits everything we need including a camper-potty, and medium-duty Sterilite totes with covers containing grill, propane cans and utensils; towels and hygiene stuff; clothing; books and games, and a lot more. Room for our folding chairs too. This is an excellent choice for anyone who isn't ready or able to spend a whole lot of $$$ for a total conversation. And.... if we need to use the van for hauling, the mattress pops right out and away we go.

It's a bit wider than the double mattress, so my dust ruffle is short, and there's a space between the mattress and the head of the bed. But no squeaks, sturdy, easy assembly. Update: a few months later I had to tighten the screws to stop the squeaking. I have a big cover that protects my legs from its legs. I have to place some acoustic foam (cardboard would work) under the mattress to prevent the mattress from sinking through the slats - and to keep from voiding the warranty on my mattress.

Excellent product, just what we were looking for after two bed frame broken. Easy to put together without any hassle. Excellent quality, very sturdy, no noise whatsoever. No need to buy box spring. Needed a new frame for my new mattress and this fit what I needed, was heavy duty and cheap. I bought some bundle boards to go on top of the slats just in case the gaps were too big for my semi-foam mattress. Arrived new in box (which seems some people have an issue here), all parts accounted for. It was a little exhausting for me to put together, but I have a bad knee and am not as young as I once was.

Der Bettrahmen gefällt mir sehr gut. Er ist sehr stabil hat ausreichen Stützen mit Geräusch-Dämpfer. Die Matratze fügt sich sehr gut in das Gestell ein. UNter dem Bett sind ausreichen Staufläche vorhanden. Ich persönlich habe Kleidungsstücke die ich nicht benötige in Kisten gepackt und diese unter dem Bett gestellt. Eine lichte Höhe von ca. 38-40 cm sind vorhanden.
