Karcher SC 2 Easy Fix Steam Cleaner

The machine is good. The power cable is short and the quality of plug is poor. It is a bit messy as the cable is not retractable. I need extension to move around in a 320 sq ft room. The tank size is 1 liter. Should have been at least 1.5 liter. If the machine had a way to release the steam after use, it would be a time saver. India is a very dirty country. And dirt comes in from our shoes & from suapended dust in air. Apart from this there is higher instance of spillages from food habits. It would have been good if the machine came bundled with extra pads. One pad is needed for an area of 150 sq ft.

I just opened my karcher steam mop n noticed that the two small brushes no 15 and 17 are missing. Also microfiber floor cloth no 26 (2 pieces ) are not there. Also number 19 microfiber cover for manual nozzle is not there. Only if I have the above parts I'll be able to use the steam mop efficiently

I bought this with high hopes especially from a company like karcher but it turned out to be totally useless product for cleaning. As per the description, it produces good quality and quantity of steam which is the only positive thing. I tested this with all the attachments and substrates without any success. I tried it to clean the bathroom tiles. As soon as you completed the wiping with this, there remains a sheen on the titles because of water condensation from steam but it wont actually clean the surface as intended. Use have to use force to remove dirt. Then I tried the floor, although it was cleaning, the water marks left behind was disgustful. I tried cleaning sinks, pipe fittings, glass. Nothing would make me recommend this product for this price.

By design, the steam losses it's steam by the time it's out of the nozzle, passing through that long tube. The temperature of steam is 100 deg. Cel. Right at the nozzle the temperature is about 90 plus one hand breadth away it drops to 60 deg celsius. You can hold your hand and it won't burn you. At this point it's just a fog of hot water droplets. How exactly do you Kil germs at 60 to 70 degrees Celsius. It's useless to mop with this if you intend to sanitize your floor. Unless there isa heating element at the steam outlet, you will only get hot fog of water droplets, not gaseous steam .
