Mattie's Treats: 10oz Box, Mini Treats; Low Protein, Low Phosphorus, Low Sodium Dog Treats

My dog was recently diagnosed with a liver condition, and I’ve been doing research to find her a safe, crunchy dog treat. I’m thrilled to find these, and she loves them! They fit in her little slow treat feeder, so a treat lasts longer and keeps her mentally stimulated. I will be ordering these mini treats again!!

Our senior Pomeranian/shit zu mix is suffering from kidney disease and has been for many years. These treats are an absolute god send so he can still have as much as his little sister and get a treat for being a good boy or just to spoil him. It feels so good knowing we are giving him something wholesome that was made for his specific dietary needs. I do recommend these smaller treats for smaller dogs as they are crunchy but not so much that it isn’t enjoyable for him. His lab values have actually gotten better since we started these. Of course, I wish they were less expensive but they last quite a long time and are unlike anything else on the market! The ingredients are the best and there is no smell to speak of, just dry biscuit treats. If you care about the health of your dog with kidney disease but still want them to enjoy their treats too, then you’ve found the right product. I hope you are your furry friends enjoy them as much as we do!

These were great for my shitzu/cocker spaniel who was diagnosed w/stage 3 kidney disease. He loved them & I was so glad that I found them for him. We lost our love, but I am glad Mattie was out there for us & all dogs like our sweet ball of love. Just to let everyone know, they are crunchy.

Sorry I hate to leave a 1 star review because of the story of these treats. However, my dog is not in the least interested in these treats and refuses to eat them. She is a treat beast and loves all treats more than anything but not these. I cannot get her to eat even if I break it up into pieces with other stuff. She eats around them. Have tried to hide in food and she licks food off and spits these out. They appear to be really bland, no smell and not enticing all. Very expensive too. The Hills Original she will eat with no issue. Really wanted these to work for small rewards but not happening.

These treats were a welcome snack for our sweet boy who was diagnosed with kidney disease and could no longer have some of his favorite things. He LOVED these until he got to a point where they were hurting his teeth because they're very hard/crunchy. The smaller size was perfect for him (20lb corgi mix) the larger size was quite messy since it was too large to eat in one bite the crumbs made a mess so I recommend making sure you get the right size for your pup. I am incredibly grateful a kidney friendly treat was available for my little dude, especially one that doesn't smell awful like most kidney friendly options. Would give 5 stars if they weren't quite as hard on his teeth. Simple ingredients made it easy to know this was a safe option.

Great product from my Home state of Maine! My picky dogs love these treats, just the right amount of consistency not to hard which allows them to eat them as they do not have many teeth left, my 19- and 15-year-old pups love them and the 19-year-old is a very picky eater! Thank you for making a wholesome product that my dogs love and have the Low Protein, Low Phosphorus, Low Sodium they need at their ages. Smell is very mild and not overpowering. Thank you, Mattie's treats!

When my dog was nauseous because of antibiotics, these treats were guaranteed to please her. And when she was feeling well, she went for these first. I can't recommend them enough.
