We got the Mega Pokémon Trainer 8 Pack for my son and he absolutely loved it. If your child already enjoys Lego’s & Pokemon ,this set is a perfect fit. The instructions were easy for my 6-year-old to follow, and he was able to build them without getting frustrated. What I really liked: • Simple directions • The pieces stay together well and don’t break apart easily • He still plays with them even after building them Honestly, I have no cons. They are great quality, fun builds, and totally worth it. Highly recommend for Pokémon fans and kids who love building toys!

The figures look great once built and my kid had a blast putting them together. The characters are colorful and poseable which makes them fun to play with. Some of the pieces are tiny and can be tricky to snap in, so younger kids might need help. Overall a cute set that keeps kids busy and happy.

Ok, so let me start off by saying that the toys themselves are great. I got this for my son for the holidays and he loved that he could build the different Pokemon. My reasoning for the star deduction is that the box they arrived in was just a white box with a ton of writing. Since my kiddo is still learning to read, he relies on the external box to understand what is inside. So if you want them to know what’s inside, you have to print an image and stick it to the box. I will add that there is a picture inside once you open the box to assemble, but I did not know that until we opened the box for him to start building the Pokemon.

I ordered the set for my 10yo specifically based on his request to get him more of these characters to build. He's gotten two or three mega blok pokeballs for the last couple years and has always had an absolute blast building them. The mega blocks poke balls are one of the first things he does after all the presents are opened Christmas Day. I chose this set in particular because you get a ton of dudes without individual ball for each character. Don't get me wrong, the balls are cute at first. But once you have a couple, they are kind of become useless and just take up space. Overall, I would say the set felt like a great value and I highly recommend it!
