It's a tarp, it's green.
Bought this for my kid to use for scouting. We had one of those crinkly blue hardware store tarps that never folds down as small as it was when it was purchased that took up way too much room. This one works great - easy to fold and packs down small. Used it a number of times w/o any issues. So far so good.

Great deal for a lightweight, waterproof tarp to use as a tent footprint especially
I used this as a tent footprint for a two person tent and it proved it's waterproof capability on the first use! There was a downpour and all with my tent was dry inside and when I took it down, the water had pooled a bit on the tarp with no sign of coming through. I could see also using this as a canopy over the picnic table as well since that seemed to be a trend at our campground that weekend. I may just get another one for that too. It folds down very compact and fits again nicely in the storage bag - we all know how that usually doesn't happen. A great deal for a well made and lightweight tarp.

Fabulous. I'm buying another
I used this as a ground pad and I loved it. It was a little larger than my tent so I had a nice matted area right outside my tent where I kept my shoes. I'm getting another one for a shade shelter. I love its little cinch sack and it's super easy to pick and carry. If you are going to stake this down, get the thin needle like stakes. The ones I bought were too big for the grommets (they were too wide). I ended up using my tent stakes for the tarp and vice versa.

Hammock Cover
Used for hammock backpacking. Got the 94"x86" to ensure that I am out of the rain. Very good. The eyelets tore from the fabric a little easy, but for the price I didn't really care. I just tied a fisherman's around the fabric where the eyelet was and it isn't gonna rip now.FYI, I tie tarps to my tent so that a triangle is formed from the ridge line to the ground. That way I only need 2 stakes.

Upgrading review to five stars - fits under Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3 almost perfectly
Four stars for now. I have not really used it. I have just did a size/fit test with my Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3. I checked a dozen or more footprints on Amazon. The measurements of the Terra Hiker Tent Footprint were close enough for me to order it. I thought I would need to do a little cutting and sewing, or at least folding and duct taping. I set it up in my front hall today, and when the tent is full staked out, with both vestibules spread, I am pretty sure the entire footprint will be under the tent, with a little bit on each side under the vestibules. Properly used, a footprint fits entirely under the tent with no fabric extending beyond the bottom of the tent. Since the small exposed sections will be under the vestibules of the tent, I should be okay. In the worst case, I fold the sides under a bit.Update after Feb 2020 backpacking trip:The photos show the footprint in use in the field. When the BA Tiger Wall UL3 is fully staked out the footprint is almost completely covered. The second photo shows just a little bit of the footprint sticking out to the rear of the tent. Since the holes in the tarp do not match perfectly with the tent as they would if I spent 5 times as much money for the footprint from BA, I have to do a bit of guessing when setting up the tent. After a few more uses I will have this zeroed in totally. Of course I could also fold the extra bit under the tent.I found the footprint to be well built and as strong as any tailored footprint I have purchased from a tent manufacturer. It is not tailor made, but it costs a lot less, and it weighs about half of what the official footprint does. I am not a gram counter, but I think the difference is more than 1/4 lb (113 grams).

Great and compact
Gets the job done. Bought this as a footprint for my Coleman four-human tent and it works well. Super easy to fold up and store away and folds up small. I’ve used this in rain/cold as well as hot/dry camping conditions so far and no complaints. Probably would also work great as a covering for tables and the ground for seating. It’s definitly helping to keep the bottom of my tent in good condition.

It works!
Bought (along with 2-3 Person Instant Camping Tent) for my first solo camping trip. It kept me dry (even though it didn't rain) and folds up into almost nothing, tucking nicely into the tent's carrying bag.

Waterproof for sure
Used this in the woods during a week long thunderstorm. It held up amazing! It was used to cover people, belongings, tents, chairs, I even draped it over myself in a hammock! When it finally stopped raining everyone was using this to sit on the wet ground so we'd stay dry. It saved the trip!
