The media could not be loaded. Complete garbage. I’ve tried finding a replacement sd card and there isn’t anything reputable out there. It’s garbage!

The retro gamer and software/hardware fiddler in me loves this. I got Diddy Kong Racing running ultra smooth with some tuning. Everything pre-N64 is plug and play.

I love my little gaming buddy, it’s so much fun to play with and is as seller described. Arrived on time and in good packaging.

I bought this product as a fun gadget. Sadly, after about fifteen minutes of use, it bricked. All of the settings were accessible, but retroarch and all of the games either gave me a black screen or returned me to the main menu. I found a solution online, but it requires another SD card which I do not have. This product has severely disappointed me.

The battery life is so-so. A few hours for demanding games, 3 hours or so for 16 bit games. The device is very picky about which charger it will accept. You have to use a USB – C to USB – A cable or it won’t charge. The OS is pretty good, easy to navigate but hard to configure. The N64 Emulator is useless, which is a shame because I was looking to mostly play DK racing. PSP and PS games look good but there’s controller issues and lag, they overload the system and cause slowdowns, you’ll have to enable frame skipping. I didn’t think I’d have to overclock this device to play 25 year old games. 16 bit games and prior have no issues whatsoever, so if that’s your goal you’ll be happy with this device as-is. I’ll have to flash my own firmware on it and my own roms. People buying this device will be looking to emulate 32-64 bit games (because it has analog sticks), so the device should come stock with the ability to play those right away, but for the most part it doesn’t do that well. That’s my critique. This device would be ideal for about 1/2 the price.

Bought it for my son's birthday and he loves it.FYI: the arcade games sometimes need you to press one of the random buttons to play them. Cause the game will process it as if you had added coins.

The short time I had with the Powkiddy was fun, but the unit refused to charge no matter what I did.The included games are plentiful and run quite well out of the box, I would have liked to spend more time with it but ended up resulting in a refund.I would like to purchase again, but I don't have confidence after this.

Even with the 2 cards in nothing show up on the screen.

We got this for our son for Christmas and for paying $150 it’s a piece of crap. The battery won’t last. It will play as long as it’s on charge which defeats the purpose of being portable.Don’t waste your money at all on this thing.

Product is worth it for good old console games that have been discontinued
