Smooth and stable idle. Easy install.
2006 Jeep TJ - Definitely smoothed out the idle and acceleration. Fingers crossed that these a more heat soak resistant than the stock units.

Great coil pack over OE
As advertised direct plug and play, it’s very high quality, you can feel the difference compared to the OE coil pack immediately. Everything is beefy. After installing the MSD coil pack the Jeep did run better with better top end performance where it used to fall on its face. The power band seems more linear. Any who, 100% recommend it!

Quality Part
Works flawlessly. I didn’t notice any increased performance, but I didn’t expect to. Mainly bought this to confirm that my issue wasn’t caused by the coil. Seems well made and like it will last.

I've been using MSD since the 1980's and they don't disappoint.
Direct fit, no fuss no muss. Bolts right up, the boots come prelubed. The plug fits like the original. The Jeep fired right up. Since I was changing the factory NGK NRF5N plugs as specified on the emissions label and this Jeep is going to be 20 years old next year I decided to have a new coil rail so that I wouldn't have to worry about the spark plug boots.

Quality part, improved idle my 2001 TJ 4.0
Quality part, seems well constructed. Was easy to install. The hardest part was getting the connector off coil pack, what I did was cut the connector off the old coil pack with a sawsall very carefully. Then you can flip it over and remove the connector lock and separate the two halfs of connector. My jeep has a better idle and top end with the msd ignition. Looks great too!

Kid smoooove!
Installation was straightforward. It was more difficult than I anticipated but it wasn’t due to the product. The coil rail was a nice bright red, livened up the motor compartment. I also changed my plugs. I had a little miss and stumble but that is gone and my 4.0 purrs like a kitten. Such a smooth idle! It’s like night and day. Seat of the pants dyno, maybe there’s something. Definitely worth the money, if you have a rough idle.

No more misfire, solved the issue. A great struggle to install, pack a lunch!
