Yonico Drawer Pull Router Bits 1-1/2-Inch 1/2-Inch Shank 13931

I love Yonico bits. Regardless of what others think or have said, Yonico are on par with my Whiteside and Amana bits. 30 year woodworker here, 'nuff said. I used this specific bit to make three, three foot handles out of flamed maple. As long as you remove a certain amount of material, (table saw) prior to using these, like any other bit of this kind, you'll do just fine.

This bit cut ok using my soft wood set-up pieces. As soon as I switched to hardwood, in this case mahogany, it burned the wood. I reduced speed, length and depth of cut but the bit continued to burn the work piece. I can't recommend this one, not even for a one off project.

Burns so badly in hardwoods. Absolutely torched white oak and walnut on the topmost part of the cut.
