Magic Chems Grout Repair Kit, Beige, Fast Drying Sealer & Filler, 8.8 oz

First attempt: Ok, you can see by the photo it isn’t perfect, but I have absolutely no experience with grout or caulk, so take that into consideration. The color is brighter than my actual grout and more like the color of my grout when it was first grouted two years ago, so will likely fade in. It just makes me realize I probably need to get the entire floor tile regrouted. 😞 I had just had the grout cleaned and the suction must have been too strong since it sucked up the grout in this one spot and left a hole that looked like a black dirty spot . I decided to try this product just to fill that hole. With minimal effort and a little smoothing with the spatula, a flat tipped qtip, and my fingertip, it did a good enough job to make the spot invisible unless you’re right up close as in the photo. So it fixed my problem without having to pay a handyman and I’m happy. **UPDATE: I got so much better at using this grout filler that I started working on ALL the grout lines. The beige matches the floor, close to original color, but is brighter and prettier than my dulled worn out grout. After I repaired the one hole, I noticed cracks and tiny holes in several places. SO, I have now started the project of filling in the grout on 800 square feet of tile, but with practice I have gotten good at this. TIPS: THAT GROUT TOOL IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!! One grout line took me forever at first; using a little bit of flat-tipped qtip, moistened fingertip, grout smoother; and using these over and over until the grout line was smooth. I didn't realize at first how indispensable the little tool is that comes with this. Making the grout lines clean (not spilling over) is SO much easier when I remembered this little tool came in the package. Now I am moving faster and intend to do the entire floor a little at a time. It looks really good. It's enough to brighten the grout, hide the cracks and holes, and overall just looks great. And, as I said at the beginning, I have zero experience at this. Love this stuff! I haven't even run out of the first tube yet!

The old homeowners did a lil cheap DIY with the dirty grout in the bathroom. Instead of taking the time to just clean it they used paint (yes) white paint over the grout. They didn’t even stay in the lines, so I took a scraper and scraped off the paint and put in this new grout. It turned out soooo good!

Used this to redo an outdoor slate fire table. Worked excellent! The consistency was perfect and it dried quickly. Cleanup was easy with water and everything looks great after sealing. It is essentially the same as regular grout as far as wiping it down after it dries. Instructions were a little unclear on the cleanup.

Slow delivery, but worth the wait. Dark grey has a slight blue tinge, but the wife likes it. Jury out on longevity.

I would rate this as 'just OK'. It is really nothing more than expensive caulk in a nice, easy to apply tube with a clever cap that prevents clogging. I used it to repair grout around the edge of our swimming pool. Grout has particulates like mortar does but this stuff is just plain caulk. So it doesn't look anything like the rest of the original grout. I will probably use it in a few small cracks where it won't show and can keep moisture out. But I'm going to keep looking for something that is actually like grout to repair the bigger cracks.

This was a very easy product to use without having to use a gun it fixed my grout very quickly cleans up easily and sealed the container and I still used it the next day I would definitely recommend this product

Easy to use. It settles, so you need to go back over it. I bought the wrong kind of thing though. The color didn’t match, so that’s on me. I used it but had to take it all out and use something else. So, good product at a decent price.

Great product, just what I needed. Color matched what I needed. Easy to use. No complaints.

You really have to squeeze hard to get this out of the tube. In fact the tube finally failed just as I was finishing the job. Finish looks nice and bright!

We chose the beige colour but unfortunately it looked more like a pale yellow. We used it to cover over a small section of grout in our bathroom that had cracked and pieces had fallen out, but since the colour was not even a close match to our existing beige grout, we ended up having to buy a grout pen to go over the colour to get more of a true beige colour.

Brilliant I went over all the grout on my kitchen floor left it to dry and mopped it few times next morning they are so much more cleaner and look as though they are new complete revival

I was initially very excited for this product and did read a couple reviews that say that the product was already hardened. Unfortunately, mine was exactly like this. Upon opening the cap, it was impossible to squeeze any of this grout off. It had already hardened and I have no idea why, it is past the window to return so there goes $25
