Have a couple similar units . This one is nice. Puts out close to what it states. Constant 8 amps for an hour workout any loss. I was more impressed with the size. It's small and powerful. I have a 5v 20amp and it's twice the size and not half as nice. I recommend it.

I got this power supply for its compact form factor and have been very pleased with its performance. I have used it to run 2 fairly large stepper motors and a raspberry pi. I have since bought 4 more and have not had any problems with any of them.

I installed this in a CNC laser and it makes so much RF noise that the stepper drivers skip and add steps. It also disrupts my serial connection. When I place my Surface tablet near the power supply,, the screen sense the RF and places the mouse cursor on that side of the screen. It is good power though. I like how slim it is.

This power supply puts out a consistent voltage and runs silently. My issue with it is the overzealous over-current protection. If you spike over 15A at all, the supply shuts down. Even a quick in-rush current is enough. It takes several seconds for the supply to kick back on after that. In my case, this resets the whole system.

This power supply does not have a cooling fan which was a feature I was looking for. The design has all the power components mounted to the bottom of the circuit board and in thermal contact with the thick (2mm) aluminum outer case for 100% passive cooling.

I have two of these. They don't power the watts it says it will, lights turn on / off by themselves. Eventually the unit started buzzing and died.

Bought this to power a 24v linear actuator. First one tripped out as soon as connected to the actuator. Resets then trips out again. Sent this back and got a replacement. Second one acts the same way. This would probably work fine for an LED load, but forget driving an actuator motor as it won’t handle the motor inrush even though it is well within the specs of the power supply.

I have been using this now for 3 months, i recommend this product 100% Quit, no heat. No noise, easy installation.
