Sure, you can pay a professional trapper to do it, but why not save a lot of money and do it yourself?!Our all Stainless Steel Scissor-type Mole Eliminator Trap is a poison free alternative that is fast, easy to set-up and use in the elimination of moles from your garden, greenhouse and lawns. The trap is double ended for maximum efficiency and has a strong spring action so to kill the mole quickly and as humanely as possible.Instructions:1. Find the mole tunnel (the ridge, not the hills). Using a probe (a pointy stick or object such as a metal screw driver) simply push straight down into the ground all the way around the mole hill. When you find a soft spot you have most likely found the “run” or “tunnel”. Follow the tunnel down away from the actual mole hill.2. With a small shovel take out a circle of the tunnel and insert the set trap with the trigger in the center of the tunnel.3. Carefully place the grass back around the trap handles.NOTE: To set the scissor trap, simply squeeze the top of the “scissors” open while taking the trigger (the “dangling piece”) and fitting it in long ways into the bottom of the trap. You know it is set when the trap stays open. That is it!Helpful Tips:When setting the trap we think wearing gloves is a good idea.1 Year Warranty100% Satisfaction Guarantee! Our Mole Trap is backed by our manufacturer 30 day money back guarantee and a 1 year replacement warranty

Only one that worked
Before I bought this trap I bought three other ones none of which worked and were a pain in the posterior to set. This one was easy and the first day I set it I caught a huge mole the next morning. Just make sure you put them in the tunnel between the mounds and make sure you cover the trap with pieces of grass and dirt so that no sunlight gets in after you set it. The top of the trap will stick out above the ground after setting it. Very easy to set, glad I bought this because my lawn look like a bombing site from WW2. You can tell when the trap has been tripped because the two bars that stick out of the ground will be spread apart if it caught anything. I actually saw a video about a trap like this that had a lady over in the UK catching moles by the dozens. That’s why I bought this one.

It works and is easy to set and empty.
For 10 weeks I tried smoke bombs, poison worms & peanuts and Trapline trap none of these worked. I have hardware cloth buried 2 feet around the perimeter of my garden. This kept the moles out for 12 years, this year one mole got in and couldn't get out. I put some Livin' Well Solar Powered Mole Repellent Stakes in 10 weeks ago which did keep the mole away from my plants but it couldn't get out because of the perimeter hardware cloth. I have sandy soil so I didn't try the Wire Tek 1001.How to set this trap: Use latex gloves so there is no human sent. Keep the soil damp. With your feet stomp down all tunnels. Wait for new fresh tunnels should happen within 24 hours. Use a spoon to gently dig out a straight section of tunnel about 2 inches wider than trap. Place trap so bottom of trigger is at bottom of tunnel. Fill in tunnel and around trap lightly with soil. Put soil back in about 1 inch higher than ground level and make sure no light gets into tunnel.

Didnt catch nothing
Directions on how to set it were nonexistent. had to guess on how to set it. Left it on several active mole runs, they burrowed under the trap. pushed it further down, they kept burrowing under it. never had a trip, or a critter. I have better luck catching moles with a 99 cent mouse trap baited with peanut butter.

Simple but effective
Like the simple approach. Easy to set and time will tell if I encounter a less than friendly mole.
