Great keyboard and value, looks sharp too
OK, I have had a LOT of mechanical keyboards over the years, at various price points. Between me and my wife, we've gone through at least 10 keyboards each over the last 15 to 20 years (yeah, multiple PCs, locations, use cases, unhappy with some of them, etc.). Plus, I am both a software and hardware engineer (recently retired), so I have a pretty solid context for my opinion. This Cherry KC 200 MX (with the MX2A Brown switches) is really very nice. Solid construction, a rigid metal base, and the keys have an excellent feel. I got this one for my wife to use, replacing an extremely well-used Cooler Master Storm QuickFire TK Brown mechanical keyboard that came with OG Cherry Brown switches. She is a research professional that is WFH, and also does extensive creative writing and correspondence. She is also has petite, with small hands. Well! She LOVES this keyboard - the keys feel perfect, their slightly closer pitch means this fits a full set of keys in a compact keyboard space. The keys are quiet but have a nice click feel. It has no RGB, which she never had a use for. The bronze finish is subtle and classy. And it fits in her space perfectly. Is it perfect? No, some nit-picks are the tilt-feet are a little clunky to adjust, and it would be improved if it had a standard, easily replaceable USB-C cable, but the one it comes with appears of very good quality. Overall, this is a home run, and we could not be happier with it. If the style and form factor work for you, I think you will be very pleased if you get one of these keyboards. It's very unlikely you will want to return it. :-)

An Amazingly Silent Keyboard!
Out of the box this product works great: Deathly quiet, very responsive and tactile, and heavy enough to sit still during use. The build quality of this keyboard is immaculate, especially for the price. Coming from a Logitech Pro keyboard I must say this keyboard runs laps on it. I can't recommend this keyboard more if you want a high quality, quiet, and responsive keyboard!

Quiet enough for a cubicle!
I love mechanical keyboards, but let's be honest: colleagues don't always appreciate the clacking. This is the perfect keyboard for someone in an office setting that doesn't want to be "that guy" with the loud keyboard. Great feel - exactly what you would expect from red switches, but truly much quieter. I have a HyperX at home, and while I won't say it totally compares in feel and in design (the lack of added space between the function keys and placement of the calculator button can be something to get used to), it's a MUCH better match for a cubical scenario. The bronze also just looks so professional and clean. Great price point for a truly high-quality keyboard. You don't need to keep living with membrane keyboards to spare your colleagues. You deserve better than that, my friend, and this keyboard will be the ticket to your escape from that easily breakable, terribly unresponsive nightmare you keep enduring.

Quiet, clicky, solid, but slightly cramped mechanical keyboard
First off, this thing is fantastic to type on. I brought it in to the office and it is a huge improvement over the cheap keyboards our computers at work come with. In terms of tactile feedback, the keys have a satisfying click and a follow-through that usually makes it easy to tell when you are pressing a key. The keys also feel like they require less pressure to actuate than the cheap keyboards I mentioned before, as it is clear when you are pressing down and when you're just pressing on the key. Despite the clicky feel of the keys, the keyboard itself is relatively quiet, so my office mates are not forced to enjoy the clicky keyboard while I work. I haven't received any commentary on the keyboard being particularly noisy, not even from the coworker who is only happy if they have something to complain about. This keyboard does not require any special software to run, and does not offer much in the way of bells and whistles - which is handy for my office, where those thing would require additional hoops to jump through with our IT department. It's just plug and play via USB. Physically, the keyboard feels rock-solid and has a nice solid weight to it. The only downside for me is that the keyboard is a bit cramped, with the keys running right up to the edge of the keyboard. A few times I've accidentally leaned an elbow on the keyboard while looking at something on my screen and only noticed when I started entering a bunch of spaces into a document. A couple of times I've also accidentally bumped a few adjacent keys on the keyboard, like the backslash and the delete key, which are packed in very close. Overall, a great keyboard!

Love this keyboard!
This is an excellent mechanical keyboard. It took me about a day or two to get used to the mechanical keyboard compared with the cheaper ones, but now I am hooked. And these switches are a great balance between a nice click and resistance without being too loud and difficult to type. Wonderful feel overall and well worth the money.

Almost perfect.
I didn't know I needed this until I used it. Built very well. Has a feel that itll last you years. Typing on this thing is butter smooth and satisfying. Keyboard looks great. Only missing a couple things to get 5 stars. First, it's cord only. No wireless option. Second, no backlight. At this price point, you can find those options. May be at the detriment of the quality of switch though, so weigh your priorities.

Great Office Keyboard
I got this keyboard 3 weeks ago and I am very impressed. I used this at work and it suits my needs perfectly. It is extremely elegant and the keys are so satisfying to press. It feels very solid and hopefully should last a very long time. I share an office with one other person and the silent red switches are perfect for my environment. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone who wants a simple but effective office keyboard.

I was using an Ornata v3 before this, which is pretty close in price. I wanted something I could use for both work and gaming. Here's a comparison that might help if you're looking for where this excels against the Ornata and similar competitors: No lighting: I'm tired of everything having freaking lights on them! I could just disable it in the settings I guess, but then I'm just paying for a feature I'm never using. Only keys with a light are Capslock and Numlock to let you know they're on. Keys: Good tactile feel and not too loud. Just enough of each to make you feel like you're typing. I use it for both gaming and work and it handles both jobs well. Very responsive for gaming. Some might consider it a little loud if you're in a cubicle with someone and you have to type a lot, but that's what headphones are for I guess! You won't find a more quiet mechanical keyboard that stll has that tactile typing feel, so you'll have to choose which you value more. (feel > sound for me) Size: A big more compact that some keyboards, but that's a plus. No lost real estate around the edges, just well-spaced keys and easy typing. You don't feel cramped at all if you're a touch typer. It has some heft to it. I often sit with it on my lap and it's fine. Not bouncing around like leaf, but doesn't cut off circulation to your legs. Durability: Again, it has some heft to it. When I pick it up I have a habit of snagging a key and pulling the cap off. I actually broke a key or two on my Ornata because the cap connectors are flimsy plastic posts and trying to find replacements was a nightmare. These keys are well-made and durable; haven't lost one yet. Only negative to me was the Calculator(???) button in the top-right. When I have it on my lap I was accidentally pressing it against the edge of my desk a lot and opening calculator app(s) mid-game; very frustrating. It was a simple job to go into windows settings and remove the mapping to the key (google for instructions) and now it's not an issue for a recliner like me. Anyone having it sit on their desk will likely never have this issue. I was a little leery of the price point when purchasing, but I'm seeing the value in the design, layout and build quality. I don't regret my purchase at all. In the last couple years I've gone through Razer, Steel Series and Logitech keyboards all around the $100 price point and this is by far my favourite. Highly recommend it.

Great keyboard. I don't understand the hate for brown switches, great blend between tactile and I think they're perfect. The key caps feel great and high quality. It is a little clacky, but that's probably me because I tend to bottom out the switch when I type. Do wish there was a backlight option, but I touch type so it doesn't matter. Hot pluggable switches would be nice, but that would add cost. All around great deal for what you pay for it.

Best keyboard I ever had (so far). I guess the keycaps profile is what helps the most, or maybe the depth of the switches. But I write faster and less typo than other keyboards I had. And the sound is also much better. More silent while still pleasant. I would have liked to have more space between arrow keys and numpad, but this is not really an issue.

The MX2 keys are really really great. Stable and sturdy.

Very pleased with this keyboard. It has a nice weight to it, seems pretty solid and has a very satisfying sound feedback when typing. The metal plate under the keys is a nice touch, gives it a really high end feel. I bought the Bronze W/MX2A Brown and I am very happy with the overall look and feel. This will fit perfectly with my gaming room aesthetic. I will note, it is slightly narrower in terms of width compared to a full sized keyboard but, I've found that it doesn't hinder the usability for most tasks and gaming. The hot swappable keys are fairly easy to remove and give you an additional customization option which is very nice and sought after.
