SAMSUNG T9 4TB, Portable SSD, up to 2000MB/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20Gbps) NVMe, Rugged, for Photographers, Content Creators and Gaming, External Solid State Drive (MU-PG4T0B/AM)

I'm a video editor and I've been using this for 7 months now with my M4 Max Macbook, no complaints. Literally everything I expected it to be! Just wish it were cheaper so I could buy more lol Only annoying thing is ofc having to carry it anytime I move with my Mac. Can sometimes unplug if I forget to support it, but that's a me problem lol

The size looks bigger in the picture but it’s a powerful device.

Utilizei duas vezes para backup está funcionando muito bem.

I’ve owned several portable SSDs over the years, but the SAMSUNG T9 1 TB is on a completely different level. From the moment I unboxed it, the premium rubberized shell and sleek, textured design signaled this drive means business—and it absolutely delivers. Lightning-quick performance Using the included USB-C cable (USB 3.2 Gen 2 × 2, 20 Gbps), I consistently see real-world transfer speeds flirting with 2,000 MB/s. Copying a 25 GB 4K video project that used to take minutes now finishes in seconds. Whether I’m editing directly from the drive in Premiere Pro, backing up RAW photos, or off-loading PS5 games, the T9 never breaks a sweat. Rock-solid reliability & cool temps Samsung’s Dynamic Thermal Guard keeps the chassis surprisingly cool—no thermal throttling, even during sustained 100 GB transfers. The shock-resistant casing (up to 3 m drop protection) gives me confidence tossing it into my camera bag without a second thought. Plug-and-play everywhere It mounted instantly on my MacBook Pro, Windows desktop, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and even my PlayStation 5. The bundled USB-C-to-A cable is a lifesaver for older ports, and Samsung Magician software makes firmware updates and health checks effortless. Featherweight & travel-ready At about the size of a credit card and barely heavier than a couple of AA batteries, it slips into any pocket. The grippy exterior means no slippery juggling act when I’m on set or working in tight spaces. Worth every penny Yes, it’s a bit pricier than no-name drives, but you’re paying for top-tier speed, peace-of-mind durability, and Samsung’s legendary reliability. For anyone who juggles large files, edits video, or just wants bulletproof backup on the go, the T9 is a no-brainer. Bottom line: Blistering transfers, rugged build, silent operation—this is hands-down the best portable SSD I’ve ever used. I’m already eyeing a second one for redundant backups. Highly, highly recommended!

Lo uso solo para guardar información, supongo que al paso del tiempo habrá que comprar otro por obsolescencia

I was looking for something future-ready and large. Was a bit lucky to have picked up this piece before the global RAM and SSD crisis fully hit. The build quality is great. I particularly like the rubberised exterior. Speeds are reliable. I would definitely recommend this drive if you can get it at a decent price.
