Usually have Systema products, but have gone off the steamers lately as the red lid seal keeps coming off and they do not supply them, making them pretty useless.Opted for the Snips model here and was a bit dubious that there was no seal or clip mechanism, but it's not needed as the steam releases via the lid and never builds up pressure.I like the multi layered basket options so you can do more in one go or smaller quantities.Not had any warping issues with ours in the months we have owned it, unlike some people that have reported this, and we use it once or twice a week for steaming potatoes prior to roasting and for the veggies.Very pleased with it and the results are perfect for steamed veggies.

It's great. Using it for everything. Lid is goodAs it avoids platter all over. Good buy.

Delightful item but don’t cook carrots stained white basket

Bought this as I moved home, 6 months ago, and still haven't had my cooker connected yet. I had missed pasta so couldn't wait for it to arrive and try it out. I followed my microwave instructions for cooking pasta rather than the instructions that came with this. Microwave instructions said to cover the pasta whilst cooking so I used the lid that came with this. First attempt and it cooked my pasta to perfection. Easy, no fuss. I put it through the dishwasher, came out perfectly clean and no distortion. It is large so check the measurements with your microwave before ordering. My only gripe, hence the 4 stars, is that I found it awkward lifting it out of the microwave with the lid not locking in to place, maybe something the manufacturers could improve on. All in all though I'm very pleased with it.

Soooooo helpful! Wish we bought one years ago. We used all the time for pasta but also for vegetables too. Well worth the money as it's a core item in our kitchen now. Good size but if it was any bigger it wouldn't fit in my microwave so check size in case your microwave is smaller.

Good solid product and easy to make great fuss free pasta. For a quick trial run I put approximately 180 grams of pasta and about one litre of water into the Pasta Maker and cooked it in my 900 watt Microwave for 10 minutes and then let it stand for a minute. Pasta came out just perfect for me. Washing up was a breeze with a little soapy water and then a good rinse Wonderful, no steamed up kitchen and no pan to scrub.Just two things to look out for. Firstly it’s quite a large pot so check the measurements and ensure that it fits into your microwave. Max width, including the handles, is about 27cm and max height about 16 cm. Secondly the lid doesn’t clip on so you have to hold the lid in place whilst draining. No problem for most people but if you have problems with your hands it might be better to dig out the old colander to drain it.Really pleased with this product, does exactly what it says on the pot – fuss free easy pasta.

The media could not be loaded. I agree with the other "one star reviews". Apparently so this steamer turns to jelly after 5 minutes use in a 800 watt microwave. I'd hate to think what would have happened if I had left it in for another 5 minutes. All the water just evaporates around the sealed edges after the clips just sprang open. My video shows the vent was opened at the time when I noticed the clips became loose. "Would not recommend"
