Had a few rugged phones this year and this one is so far the best.The camera beats the 108 megapixel of the tank 2 and smashes the Oukitel wp22The FM radio is cleverly done with the connection to the headphone jack being used as part of the antenna for headphone free reception. When you plug in the headphones it effectively increases the antenna length, Allowing weaker stations. Unlike the Tank 2 there is no RDS when listening. Only basic station name when recording. Recording is 128Kbps 3gp stereo (if you change the file extension to aac most media players will play it). The codec works well with and I would compare it to a 192Kbps mp3.The sound quality is a little tinny but ok for speech. I have heard worse.Wi-fi reception is less than the tank2 and Oukitel by about 6dB. Cell reception on T-Mobile is about the same as the Oukitel and Tank 2 and has the advantage of 5G. I'll update this with band 71 info on my next road trip.Video recording at 4K with a generous 50000 Kbps with 256 Kbps audio and 20000Kbps at 1080p so there are no visible compression artefacts. Audio is not as Hi-Fi as the Oukitel but is better than the Tank 2.I have attached 2 pictures comparing this phone with a typical 48MP rugged phone.The phone has a screen protector already applied but comes with an additional glass protector.Unfortunately the glass protector built up so much static when peeled, It picked up some dust and was no good.

Works on my network but it's just a bit off. Button works when it wants to. Wireless charging works if you put it down in just the right way at the right velocity and if it's the third Monday and there's a waning moon.But the battery lasts a long time and i feel like it would break my nose if I dropped it on my face.

Just like the older model, this phone does NOT have a good 2-SIM card configuration. WiFi calls and text messages work on my other Ulefones, but DO NOT WORK on this specific model. Same SIM card, same carrier, same location - but WiFi text messaging (internationally) just works on my other Armor. Additionally, the camera is defective on this phone and shuts down as soon as it opens. Customer service completely ineffective, had to email several times they did not show like they cared at all.

This Ulefone 18 Ultra is a great phone. I've had it and been using it for less than a month now but at least 2 weeks.I switched from an LG V30 and although I found it more difficult to set up this phone and figure out features than the LG V30, overall I like this phone more. Perhaps that most incredible difference 😳 and positive for this 18 Ultra contrasted with the V30 is battery life. Astonishing! This 18 Ultra holds a battery juice for a loooong time. Not only that! I'm blown away at how fast the 66W charging block and cord that comes with it charges this phone from 2% to 50%. Super fast. By the time this 18 Ultra gets to 50% my V30 might have gotten to 10%I haven't really tested out the photo cameras yet though on this 18 Ultra.Oh! the tempered glass that comes with this phone that you can put on, and I did, just rocks! in increasing the value purchase of the phone via giving you even a greater sense of security if dropping your phone to the ground.My one big gripe is that to turn OFF my phone, to power it off, I have to press and hold the TOP volume button and the power button at the same time. I haven't figured out how to fix that yet.Also, for added helpful info, I went through Straight Talk "Bring Your Own Phone" plan. The Straight Talk sim card package I ordered through Walmart provided 2 sim cards: A & B. I believe Straight Talk phone operator had me put in sim card B. On my phone in "About" section my phone says T-Mobile.

Armor 18 ultra is my third model that I purchased from Ulefone. From the first to my latest armor 18 they all work and perform perfectly!Ulefone 10 star ⭐ for me!
