I have skin allergies and eczema and my skin is fickle and sensitive when it comes to moisturizing that I must do after every shower. For years dermatologists were telling me to use cream instead of lotion for longer lasting moisturizing effects. So, I have used either CeraVe, Aveeno or Vannie cream. They are not bad but their creams are all quite thick and if I put on too much, my skin gets eczematous just from the thickness. And once the eczema flares up, there is little I can do except to wait for the inflammation to die down on its own. So, I have realized over the years that preventing a breakout by finding a good moisturizer is key. I had tried different Body Shop body butters but the fragrances (or something else), you guessed it, caused my eczema to flare up. I decided to give this a try because of the light scent and high water content compared with creams. This suits my skin very well. It does not feel greasy and locks in moisture for around a day for me. It is a little pricey for a 6oz jar. Actually, years ago I found something comparable at a fraction of the price of this British product. It's Jergen Wet Skin almond oil. It works similarly but they have since discontinued the product.
