My so is in the ARMY and cannot place holes in the wall. Lights out when it is still day time and he desperately needed curtains. This tension rod is perfect! Installs quick! Holds heavy blackout curtains. He asked me to order another one for his neighbor...I sent a link!

I use this across my hallway
This last winter my heater was broken, and I used my fireplace to heat the house. I did not want to heat the whole house, but only the part I was in so I use this with a curtain across my hallway to keep the heat in the part I was in and not going into the other half of the house. It fit perfectly across my hallway and held a curtain there all winter. It is made of good quality material and has a very strong spring to make sure of a tight fit.

Inter-rim solution for window treatments. Did not want to poke holes in the wall. Not sure exactly what we will end up with, but these work for now.

Great product but it can damage the window trims paint
It does its job, but after using it for a while, taking it off the window can easily peal off the window trim’s paint.
