I did a lot of research before purchasing this vest. And used the size chart off of the brand's website to ensure I was picking the best size based on my measurements. Decided to purchase on Amazon versus the website in case I needed a different size because returning with Amazon is easier. The quality of this vest is incredible! I was surprised at the thickness of the material, so keep that in mind in case you're planning on wearing this in warmer weather. It definitely has some weight to it. There's so many pockets for organization, particularly love the back pocket and the designated phone pocket where you can still read the screen. The zippers move smoothly, very pleased with the color and the fit. This looks like a great addition for organization while traveling. Very excited to try this out, very pleased with the purchase.I'm 5' 5" and 135lbs Medium fits me well.

I bought this vest for an upcoming trip. The vest is very well made and it looks great. The women's cut vest looks nice and stylish. There are outside and interior zipped pockets.

The Scott E Vest was recommended by friends and we were going to be doing a lot of traveling in Guatemala and didn't want to check luggage. This vest became part of traveling lighter. The PRO list includes LOTS...like it comes with a map for the pockets, and you'll still loose stuff in the pockets... LOTS of pockets. The help is going through security. Put your phone, passport, kindle, ipad and glasses in your vest and put it on the belt at airport security. That is pretty slick. The CONS list is be careful of what you wish for if you wish you had pockets, there's a lot of them. I also find the vest to be heavy. That many pockets, RFID liner, zippers give this vest some heft so adding in gadgets and gizmos makes it heavy. It was also pretty hot in a warm climate (Feb/March Guatemala City). There were days it was just too hot to use. It was great at the street festival where we didn't worry about pickpockets. Even I didn't know where my wallet was. I'm glad they sew the map into the vest. The two side pockets are big enough for a water bottle. That's nice for a lot of walking. Both my partner and I found ourselves give ourselves pat downs trying to locate the direction of the pocket in order to get out whatever it was you put in. It certainly added a lot of laughs to the trip. Our entire tour group enjoyed watching us lose and find our things.

I bought this vest for an Alaskan cruise and I was so glad I did. My passport, money, sunglasses, port information, etc. had a special place. The fabric is wonderful and it's so versatile. It can be worn when running errands and anywhere you need your hands free. It's well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Not inexpensive for an item not strictly necessary, but I love this vest as much as I hoped I would. It seems very well made, the zippers are invisible and work perfectly. It is fairly light weight but not flimsy. I was nervous about washing but followed instructions using cool water and waterproof cycle on my washer. I tumble dried to about half and then let it air dry. Still looks beautiful with no puckering or shrinkage.They seem to run a little small--I am 5'8" and 180#. I purchased xxlarge as recommended and it actually fits beautifully - no binding or gaping to make me look either like a stuffed sausage or like I'm wearing a tent. Recommend following suggested sizing even though it seemed a little crazy to me.I rarely write reviews but I was on the fence about buying a travel vest (weary of spending money only to return a poorly manufactured item) but I would buy this again without hesitation.

This is the second one I have purchased. I bought a women's XL for the first one I bought about a year ago. I'm a size M or L in most other tshirts. I took measurements. Fit was fine. I ordered a 2nd one of the same size and brand and it's way too big.

I have been using the vest for non-travel activities. It’s great at holding all the things that would usually go in a bag. Highly recommended.
