Elite Plant Protein (Cafe Latte)

I rarely leave reviews, but this one calls for it! I have bought so many bags of FYTA Vegan Protein Powder because it’s the best flavor, texture, and ingredients available for my specific needs. I found out (the hard way 😅) about 3 years ago that I’m intolerant to lactose, but the next-worst discovery after that, was I am one of the “lucky” people that have the same GI symptoms to Pea Protein as I do to dairy. It’s seems no other company is aware that this is even a “thing” as the first ingredient in every other vegan protein powder is always Pea Protein. I have tried two of FYTA’s flavors (Cafe Latte & Caramel Vanilla). The Cafe Latte is absolutely my favorite, I didn’t really care for the Caramel Vanilla it tasted too “artificial”. BUT I will keep buying the Cafe Latte over and over, and even got on their email list when they were having supply issues to be notified when they first got it back in stock! Maybe one day I’ll try the chocolate. Thank you, FYTA for being the only company with a yummy VEGAN and NO PEA PROTEIN Protein Powder!!!

I was completely blown away by what a great tasting protein powder this has turned out to be. I ordered the cafe latte version and from the very first moment just opening up and smelling it I was incredibly hopeful. Like many of us, I have tried very types of powders and The taste has been so awful that most recently I have resorted to buying ones without any flavoring at all and adding my own sweetness to them. I can't stand the taste of stevia so that rules out quite a few. Amazingly, this one though, tastes so good it's not like something I have to chug down every day to get in my greens, it's something I actually look forward to. Extra bonus points that there are so many healthy and high quality ingredients. Yes it's pricey but in this case I would say it's really worth it. I am just blown away can't say enough. I'm even inspired to perhaps try the other flavors. I'm sure they're also good. As others have said, it does mix in extremely well. Something interesting, I used it with my usual ingredients and somehow it yielded a lot more smoothie than I normally got and I just can't figure out why that would be but it's all good!

I bought two flavors. One was good, the other wasn’t…it was the worst taste out of the dozens of brands & flavors I’ve tried over the years. Something was wrong with it — and I saw it had no expiration date printed on the package (unlike the one that tasted good). I contacted the company to complain and they just assured me that it wasn’t expired — they wouldn’t give me a replacement or refund.

This product is all win-win. Some may think this protein is quite pricey compared to other brands, but the quality of it is far superior! The taste and smell are delicious (I bought the caffe latte one), it blends well, it has a higher amount of protein per serving than most other brands, and the ingredients are good for our bodies and for the environment.

I have used countless protein powders over the past +20 years, with a recent switch to plant-based versions-- Fyta is completely unique. I have never seen any protein powder dissolve like this. I have a scoop in my coffee every morning, and now that the weather is getting cooler, I use it to make protein hot cocoa every night. All three flavors are great-- The vanilla caramel is the sweetest of the three, but I love vanilla lattes so this is not a negative for me. The chocolate makes a great mocha (or cocoa!), and the cafe latte is the most neutral. If you are a fan of instant roasted grain drinks, you will like the latte. Just fyi, Amazon has sent me the wrong flavor before (you know how warehouse fulfillment can be). I like all three, so no big deal, but if this worries you I would suggest placing an order direct from Fyta. I cannot believe a protein powder made from upcycled barley 1) exists and 2) works so well. I love living in the future.
