Fire Blanket for Home and Kitchen,40" x 40",4 Pack,Emergency Fire Blanket

Arrived on time and as described.Although I haven't had a fire to try these out, I *do* have legit professional Fire Fighters in our family who recommend these for home use.There are 4 packs of 40"x 40" blankets that can be used on liquid, grease, and biofuel fires, but NOT used on electrical fires. They can can be wrapped around a person or thrown over a fire to smother flames, and it never expires or needs to be recharged.Each pack has a one grommet centered on the top, but does NOT come with a hook like other brands include. I feel, for the price, we can always just get our own.This brand does NOT include fire resistant gloves as other companies include, but then again, for the price, one can always purchase these separately.There are two pull tabs on the base of each pack (presumably made of black nylon webbing) one uses to pull open the pack to release the blanket which needs to be unfolded to cover the fire.We purchased these for families as gifts, and so far everyone who has received them has been excited to have them.Bottom Line: For the price, convenience, and the safety they provide I highly recommend.

Good ideal love it

A product you hope never to use, I got a couple sets to give some to friends and family. I like them for stoves and grills where you could have a fire but maybe shouldn't or might delay using a fire extinguisher (like a grease fire, or you don't want fire spray all over the kitchen). The blanket smother the fire and leaves no mess, you can always fall back to an extinguisher. These would also work well for a person like if you ignited your shirt while cooking.

We have an elderly mother with us, and this came is handy when an accident happened in the oven. Thus is a must have whether olds or young- this will safely put out any unexpected flame and save you and your loved ones from potentially bad situations. Must have!

I pray I never need these but the peace of mind it gives me is priceless. I know the quality is there because these are heavy weight. I was surprised when I found these because other companies were charging a similar amount for one fire blanket and the fire blanket was smaller. I was hoping these would feel heavy and these not only are heavy weight but they have a very tight weave. The color of the fire blanket is white but the bag is red. Easy to spot in an emergency. I have 2 in the kitchen and 2 in our travel trailer. If I ever have a fire emergency break out I know it could spread fast, so having 2 great. I love how compact they are right now. Not taking up a huge amount of room in my kitchen or my travel trailer.

Solid safety blankets

These are great housewarming/ apartment residents gifts. I purchased (2)4 packs. I gave 3 to my neighbors. I gave 1 to supervisor and two co-workers. Do not take out of the bag to look at. They are hard to put back inside.
